I've used this bladder several times. Its easy to refill while still in the pack and the closure system works well. The removable hose is nice for cleaning.

It was great for first 4 runs. Until the 5th use, the middle of a 20 miler in July in Florida, and I'm 10 miles from my house and I feel a gush of cold water running down my back. The bottom broke and I lost 2/3 of my total fluids. I was counting on that water to be safe. Not sure how I can trust these products again during high temperature/humidity workouts.

I refuse to believe anyone owns one of these that doesn't leak if they don't keep it absolutely upright and still at alltimes - or empty... Bought it yesterday, went home to test it, filled it up and it leaks from both top corners. The closing mechanism doesn't even attempt to seal the corners! I know you're reading this thinking "maybe it's not that bad, I could test it out"... Don't! Buy something else that works! Come on Salomon, this is TERRIBLE design and you know it :) Recall this product and replace it with something better, you can afford it!

Holds the water in no leaking, wish their was better instructions on how to open the bladder. Solomon should also make a cleaner for it rather than me having to resort to go to another company to buy one.
In last 6/7 months 2 of them broken. So in my opiniom,much better option is,buy something cheaper.
I bought this and the first time I tried to use it began leaking from where the PNP adapter and hose attach. I have not even been able to use this product that I have purchased several weeks ago. The reservoir seems like it is good quality but all the attachments seem cheap and as from reading the review on other Salomon reservoirs this seems to be common issue. They did send me replacement PNP adapter and fitting but the PNP adapter is impossible to take out and replace on my own. That was just insult to injury to a dissatisfied customer since individual parts are not something a customer should have to replace themselves, let alone it being extremely difficult to do. I still have not replaced it and have almost harmed myself trying to cut it off. This is a must for your Salomon vest! Simple and light weight. There are two features I really like. The first is the ability to turn it inside out for cleaning. The second is the way the drinking tube is routed through the vest
Excellent product, well made and designed by Salomon
I was a little worried that this bladder would be too tight for the sleeve and my pack. It held the water just fine and fit perfectly. Also the quick connect for the drinking tube connects and disconnects very easily.
Fits perfect in the Advanced Skin 12. Only recommendation would be clear directions on install and where mouth piece should rest.
