I bought the shoes three weeks ago and I’ve stopped using them, or at least until I figure out how not to get injured when walking with them. I decided to go for this pair for two reasons, style and comfort. These shoes are very stylish but have a fatal flaw, the heel tab is high and curved. This meant that when I used them for 4 consecutive days to do some sight seeing, I ended up with a tendinitis on both my achilles tendons. The reason for which was because the heal tab applied pressure to the achilles tendon when walking.I’m disappointed with this shoe because they look fenomenal but they don’t live up to the comfort standard of the brand.

Just wore these out for canyon hikes in the Joshua Tree and Anza-Borrego Deserts. Loved 'em. Super ventilation and great traction. Thought that the sand might penetrate the "screens" but didn't seem to have any issues.
