This model is simply amazing. The on foot feel is *chefs kiss*. Fits slightly more roomy than, the XT-6 or newly released XT-4 OG. Looks super sleek from afar, but with amazing texture up close. The upper is supple & is very comfortable on foot.

I think this is a very lovely, well made shoe, however the way the shoe looks in person is different than it looks in the photos. For one thing, the tongue is quite padded (1/2 inch thick and has a mesh pocket to hold the laces) and sticks up in a way that somewhat interrupts the overall sleekness that the website image suggests. The shoes themselves are silver with purple-grey to lavender details rather than metal grey, and they shimmer in the sunlight. I ended up liking the reflective look but others who want a stealthier streetstyle look may not be as enthused. Better than expected. This is my new favorite shoe. So sleek and such a unique design. Very lightweight. Durable. Comfortable! Fit is a smidge on the narrow side in my opinion, bc of the lacing system. Good thing I ordered up a half size. 5 star shoe!

Not supportive
I love the shoe. The base seems to be the same as the XT-4 which is one of my favorites and I like the upper. Seems durable and fairly breathable.
Great shoe. Wider toe box than the XT-6, but looks great on foot, and is my favorite Salomon right now. I am a women's 7.5, and I have these in a 5.5 (same size I get in the XT-6). It is slightly shorter than XT-6, but still comfortable and good for daily wear. Agree with previous reviewer that the tongue is a bit bulky, but I've never had a problem with it, and no one has ever mentioned it.
50 miles a week and they're doing good look great function and style
I made a purchase around 2 months ago in the anticipation of warmer weather and a lighter option for my treks. The shoes are a good fit, slightly narrow. The secure fasten option is easy to operate. Found them super grippy across all types of surface, especially downhill. Plus they look great too.
