Well I am having to use 2 of my daughters hair ties to keep the sleeves from sliding up onto over my hands . The elastic on the cuffs is essentially useless and it dosent even go around the whole cuff . I don’t know who approves the design of these items but they definitely do not test them nor care . Customer service dosent even attempt to fix the problem or to make it right they just reply with some lame comment if that . I’ll be looking else where for running apparel .

I have run in the Patagonia Houdini for the last decade. The Bonatti Cross Wind is a superior jacket. The chest snap is a fantastic feature. The hood fits extremely well and doesn't require cinching and the chest pocket is much larger than the Houdini.

After only one cool rain run,10 degrees celsius, I think this is a great jacket for that very purpose. Lightweight. Keeps the rain out. Zipper vent works well. Fits in my pulse belt. Great price.
Jacket does an adequate job, but is definitely comes up short as a high end technical piece of kit. Cuffs are too loose and lack adjustment and same can be said of the hem. A great feature is the button closure behind the front zipper at mid chest height that allows for the jacket to be worn open without flapping all over the place. Fabric is decently breathable and does a great job of keeping wind out. Just a shame about the cuffs.
This is a good run jacket and does what it's designed for. Lots of colors to choose from. Just one minor note, this jacket is water repellent but not waterproof. For the mandatory gears in many European races (e.g., must be windproof and waterproof), I think you should look for Salomon Bonatti WP Jacket
The cuffs are way too big letting the sleeve slide over my hands . Terrible design . My long sleeve shirt was the same way . I need to stop buying long sleeve items from here. Fool me once shame on you , fool me twice shame on me .
I have used this for 3 different trail runs with temps in the 40s(F). Pros-does keep the wind out, not sure about wet. Fit is true to size, not slim like they indicate. Good looking. Cons-the most aggravating and subpar feature is the elastic around the sleeves and the waist is non existent. i have a 15 year old NF that has tighter cuffs and waist. They are completely stretched out so the waist is straight and lets in wind, the cuffs wont stay on your wrist and fall down past your hand. Come on Salomon.
I got this jacket about a month ago and have worn it several times on windy cool runs. It’s extremely packable and light weight I fold it and put it into my pocket when it warms up. The fit is absolutely perfect and I personally haven’t had any issues with the sleeves riding up. If you’re looking for a light packable jacket for cool days, i recommend this one hands down!
What can I say - another great Salomon has been delivered to me. Massive fan of Salomon products, sometimes they get it right, sometimes wrong. This time they got it right. Lightweight, fits in the q12 easy, easy to put on, robust and kept me warm when on the Trails last week, wind chill was bad but with this on it was fine.Would i recommend this jacket - YESThanks Salomon
