The 20K waterproof rating clearly outlasts my 10K jacket by a couple of hours. I don't see much difference in breathability though. I noticed a big difference in hood size between a medium and large. Overall I am pleased with the performance.

I've run with a few different rain jackets but they're no match for this. It's light and breathy, which is very much appreciated because my other rain jackets get too hot and sweaty. I like the windproofness also, it was perfect to use when I was out in NYC on a windy day this autumn.Sidenote: it doesn't have the normal side pockets but it does have a zip-up higher on the chest (see pic, it's right by the S logo), which I prefer. I don't ever put anything in low pockets when I'm running because it makes them bouncy.

This jacket is great. It is light and soft material and does not make rustling noises on my runs. I like the hood design because it stayed in place in the wind.I have not tried this jacket under heavy rain conditions. However, it kept me dry under prolonged light rain conditions. I found it breathable as well. It will be my prefered jacket on runs whenever weather conditions are unsettled.At 5ft 3inches and weighing 54 kg, the small size fits me perfectly.It would nice if there are side pockets around the waist.However I like it so much I bought another one as a present for my daughter in the same lovely red colour.
I bought this several weeks ago and love it! Great quality, fits true to size, love the reflective material features, easily visible on the road and trails, and makes for a great wind breaker!
Love the fit of this jacket but wore it while there was 30 minutes of light rain and it was completely soaked through. The hood is well constructed for keeping the rain from dripping down your face. It is nice against a light wind but I bought this for both wind and rain.
Nice fitting jacket but wore it on a 30km run in the wind and rain and I was absolutely soaked through. Disappointed as otherwise it’s a nice jacket but when you’re forking out a decent sum for a waterproof jacket, you expect it to be waterproof!
I bought the Bonatti Trail to stay dry and because this often is mandatory equipment for trail races. The fitting is great and comfortable. Unfortunately the jacket is not waterproof. Therefore I am a bit disappointed because normally I love this brand.
I don't leave reviews but this is an outstanding waterproof jacket, so light and soft. I only brought this to wear over my hydration pack as I have not seen this type of design before. I ran for 3 hrs in the rain and drizzle today and stayed dry. The chest popper design sells this jacket for me as when you get hot you can unzip the jacket and it stays in place. I would usually wear a cap under a hood in the rain but the hood design keeps your face dry too, winner! The jacket is true to size and if you run with a hydration pack or run ultra it is well worth the purchase especially in England! Well done Salomon!

I took it for an hour long run in a constant drizzle (there was a downpour for about 7 minutes, too) and came back dry. The only moisture in my jacket was from the sweat on my skin. This jacket will make you warm, just so you know, so I dress very light under it even with it being cold outside. The jacket is not very breathable so you'll get warm once you start working some hills- but! you'll be sheltered from the rain water.Jacket hoods have always been annoying to me and I have never used them. But this jacket has a great hood and I use it in the rain. The hood is low profile so you can see your peripherals, a necessary safety feature for the forest trails I run on. I love love love how this jacket has no pockets on the hips or drawstrings. Those have always bugged me on other running jackets and I don't use them. This jacket is slim-fitting but does not ride up or get in the way when I run. The sleeve cuffs were well done, too, elastic underneath and flat over the top for extra protection. Inside the hood there is a loose headband type of thing that keeps it secured on the head but it is not tight. Another great feature is that this jacket isn't as noisy as other running rain jackets- if you know what I mean, you know. The swooshing sounds of other jackets I have are distracting to me and I need to be able to hear what's going on around me in the forest.The size small fits me perfectly. I am 5'1" and about 127, I have a more muscular build instead of slender and the size small still has room for movement.Bottom line: this jacket is so well designed and made that it is worth every penny (even if you hate spending big money on gear).
