Pretty much the perfect shoe. I had originally wanted xa pro 3ds, but only the v8s were available at the time. Love that the older model is available again. Wish they still had some of the old colors. Overall, this version is much more comfortable on my feet than the v8s. I'll probably keep buying this model forever if it stays around. I just bought these, but I'm confident in their durability based on reviews and experience with other Salomon shoes. Haven't broken them in yet but they were comfortable right out of the box. Nice snug fit. With the v8s, I get a bit of heel slip.

These are my second pair of Salomon. I got them for my hiking trip to the dolomites. I want to say how much I appreciate them. I went a size up so I can wear them with thicker socks to keep my feet warm and for better stability. I did 2 difficult hikes with very loose rocks and slippery roads but they kept my knees and ankles unharmed. Great product! Bonus: they also look very fashionable! ;)

Great shoe. Super stylish. Only had them a week and already received lots of compliments. Comfortable and sturdy.
