I have over 25 pairs of Solomons. All of my Solomons have meaning and all have purpose. This pair, however, is just joyful and playful. I never thought I’d buy shoes for style but once I saw these, I had to have them for no other reason than for their looks! They are sized typical for Salomons and offer great comfort and support. I have been a loyal Salomon customer for years since my Plantar Fasciitis started flaring up again. I’m an avid weightlifter and I also hike and move around a lot. I wanted one shoe that could do it all. I started buying several generations of the Salomon Speedcross and S Labs. I have to admit that you almost lost me as a customer because the quality suffered terribly during the pandemic and over the last year or so along with very limited choices and awful/boring colors. I saw these and jumped right ion it because of the color and they are S Labs. I was a bit hesitant because they are quite pricey, but decided to give it a go. I absolutely love them! I love the OG's! They remind me of back when I first started wearing Salomon. The red is bright and vibrant and gets lots of remarks in public. Extremely comfortable and easy to wear all day long. I wish they offered a wide size, but they aren't uncomfortable at my normal size.

Over 10 years ago I bought a pair of XT Wings to hike in Nepal. They were absolutely amazing and lasted many many years. When I retired them I never found another pair of Salomon's that could replace them until now! I walk a lot with my Great Dane and I was therefore VERY excited when I saw that the XT-4 OG had a very similar construction to my XT Wings. I bought a pair in size 9 mens (I am normally a size 10.5 women) and I am very HAPPY that I did! Can't wait to go on long walks with my dog and feel like I am walking on air! I hope these last a long time like my XT-Wings did! Only time will tell!
I have several pairs of the XT-6, so I added the black XT-4's to my collection. I am very pleased with my purchase. I noticed the shoe is slightly different from the XT-6 in terms of width (this style is a little wider) but overall very similar otherwise with the quick lace and very comfortable shoes. Despite being slightly wider I still ordered the same size I get in the XT-6 and the fit was just fine!
I bought these about a month ago and it's hard to stop myself from wearing them daily. FI wore these to Coachella and had absolutely no foot or backpain all weekend. They cleaned up perfectly after being in the dust as well. I get compliments on these from nature enthusiasts, sneaker heads, and every day humans. Very happy with the vanilla coloured xt-4-og the have style are comfortable and stable however I was hoping for more arch support in that stability …. Something that could be engineered into a shoe like this. I’m a size 8 women’s and wear orthotics and usually size up to an 8.5 or 9 so I ordered a men’s size 7 and the fit right.over all they are good shoes, and love the design and colour way
I’m currently sitting on a rock on the Isle of Harris wearing my XT4-Advance. Sadly rather commending these shoes I’m having to criticise them and the quality of the product.I have bought 3 pairs of shoes from this company, the Ultra Glides (still waiting for my replacement insoles that was supposed to be sent) and SLab Cross2 actually the only pair I can praise.I have attached photos to show the quality of the upper is appalling and something you’d find on a cheaper make and not £165 sport style shoes. The mock carbon fibre bonding is coming away from the mesh like fabric on the toe box and this is after going out on the first walk. Bought this shoe several weeks ago, been wearing it everyday and have noticed that it's starting to give me toe pain that I've never had before. Bought it true to size. I've never had this kind of pain before these shoes. Seriously regret buying it now becuase I can't even return it.
I really like the shape of the shape and the design. Fit true to size. The colorway is crazy. Only thing That I Don't really like about a lot of model the yellow réd and blue on the tongue never fit good on the shoe because these 3 colours already Don't look good together and if you put these colour on a red shoe, you Don't want to see à blue rectangle out of nowhere. Exept that the shoe and quality is totally soo stylish.
