I've always been a fan of Salomon products and the XT-6 for sure has an overall great design. But the quality and material are embarrassing. Only worn them once and they're not breathable at all. To top things off, distinctive sweat stains appeared on the entire toe box. I never experienced anything like that and especially not with a shoe in that price range. Reading through the reviews I realized that a lot of customers have the same issue. I'm wondering why they still produce the shoe with that material design. Anyhow, haven't found a way to get these stains out and it was only one wear.

I had foot pain, was worried about a trip where i would do a-lot of walking. I walked 15k steps per day on this. This was by far the most comfortable shoes i purchased and want to purchase another pair. A great looking shoe and super comfortable, bought 3 pairs over a year in different styles however all have defects from minimal wear.Would love to recommend these because style, comfort and technical abilities are great, but the materials are sub par.The upper fabric on the white colour-ways stains black very quickly which I have seen in a few different peoples. Certain colourways scuff and leave yellow stains with very little wear.I think the materials need to be looked at further, and tested rigorously. Not sure what the warranty of these shoes are but I have owned all 3 pairs less than 1 year, buying the most recent colourway 2 months ago.

These shoes have really sky-rocketed in popularity recently, atleast where I live. I decided to give them a go and I haven't looked at any other shoe in my collection since. They're very well made, no visible flaws or glue stains like you'd find on Nike shoes.Did a 5 hour hike in these and to my shock, my feet did not hurt whatsoever afterwards. They're not the squishiest soles however, they provide lots of support without feel like orthopaedic shoes. Very comfortable.The only thing I would recommend is if you like a snug fit, size down half a size as these shoes run long but narrow. As well, pay attention to the size charts and go with the EU sizes as they're the most accurate.

I have a couple of pairs of XT-6s and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. Truly a pleasure to wear, especially with good fitting socks.
