I've had several pair of this model and am happy with them. The Salomon product line has become too expansive over the last decade or so and has diluted the quality and integrity of the brand in pursuit of mainstream popularity. Please consider bringing back the Speedcross Vario line

Beautiful shoes that look well built to last for some time. I was looking for some sneakers for a while and these were the only ones that struck me into my eyes, so I’m really excited about them. They are comfortable and provide great stability. One thing that disappointed me is that the shoes are actually NOT breathable at all. When I wore them in probably 18 degrees my socks were pretty wet, so I’m concerned to wear them on a hot summer day… or even to travel with them on my feet

I purchased this shoe as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday. It is a great looking shoe and the color way options made it difficult picking what shoe to by as they were all appealing! He hasn’t made any complaints yet and was quite excited to receive them as they were on his want list for a while. He will definitely be wearing this shoe in a more casual way.

I bought these shoes for my 2 week in trip Europe and they were my go to out of all the shoes I brought. I wore the shoes for the first time during my trip and I was devastated to see that they had already chipped at the toe of the shoe only within a few hours. Although I was walking long lengths in these shoes, I was really surprised to find that the quality was so fragile, especially considering it’s classified as a sportstyle shoe. I’m not sure if the quality is unique to this skyline model, but it is my major disappointment in this shoe. The pouch to store the quicklace is very poorly located right underneath the top crossing laces. It is impossible to use it. You are left with the quicklace pull tab and the extra lace loose and tangling on top. It also runs a bit tight for a size 9.
I got these shoes two weeks ago and I loved the design. They are the comfiest shoes I’ve ever worn. I was waiting for months for a new colour way to come out that I really liked. Unfortunately they’ve already scuffed on the toe and the design is rubbing off the shoelace (this is after going on one hike with them, otherwise I’ve only worn them around town). The toe scuff wouldn’t bother me as much if it weren’t a white base under the black… I expect higher design quality for this price. The xt-6s are more expensive than most Salomons, I presume because of the colour range, and I’m disappointed that the design doesn’t look like it will last even a summer of hiking and trail running.

Easy to just tighten lacing system to accommodate.-One con:Inner & outer edge of toe area rips quite fast. All my friends pairs did this too & they don’t even run in them, only walk. Didn’t cause issues but for the price could use some additional material there to prevent that.-Size chart:They change their size chart over the past year. My old pair was an 8.5 which was a EU 42 2/3, I noticed an EU 42 2/3 was now a men’s 9 on the size chart, so I got those and they were WAY too big. This is a gorgeous shoe that is also functional and comfortable. They required no breaking in—I wore them on a 3-ish mile walk the day I got them and my feet felt great.They do keep my feet fairly warm, so I wouldn’t recommend for super hot climates or if you need some ventilation in your shoes.I’m usually a 38 EU, 8.5 Womens in Hokas and I ordered an 8 Womens (aka 7M) in these and they fit great. Love them.
I have bought these shoes in 2022 and have been really careful of when and where I wore them as i wanted to extend their lifespan. After the first year of wear (1x week- city walk) I found the mesh toe box started having holes and no real way to repair them.I have the same pair in Gore-tex and have found them way more durable in that area.Overall cute and comfy for city life
I love the look of this shoes and I already got many complements from my friends. I wore this shoes for short hiking several times and these have good grip to handle moderate hiking.Just one drawback is that this shoes gets warm during Summer times.
