Man I love these shoes. I originally went to purchase a black shirt. But could find it and was about to take one final lap around the store on my way out when I saw them glistening in a corner. Tired them on and thought I'd come back for them at a later day. But as I was walking out the store I decide to turn around and buy them. They are so comfortable and fashionable. I was surprised I was able to find them at The Rack

I was thrilled to see that this shoe had returned to Salomon's line up. The originals were everyday favorites of mine back in the early-mid 2000s, and the new version certainly does them justice. They are comfortable, study, and overall very well made. The two areas of concern I found are the tongue baffles and eyelet rivets. Due to the way the shoe is designed, similar to the original, it must be tied snugly to prevent heel slip. This is a little bit of extra work since the the top eyelets are locking speed lace hooks. This extra effort could probably be prevented by using a tough elastic tongue baffle or switching to a non-locking speed lace hook. There were my favorite shoes of the early 2000s and I was heart broken when Salomon stopped making them. I’ve got some concerns over their durability compared to the original model so here’s to hoping they hold up to the Quest name.
These are a good stylish, casual shoe. They feel durable, but they are rigid and heavy so not ideal for a hike. But I got them because I like the way they look, and they are comfortable.
They are cute but they are incredibly stiff/ hard. Barely any flexibility, and it feels a bit like wearing bricks on your feet.
Great shoe. Good quality and very comfortable. Only issue I have is the photos are pretty misleading on the true color of the upper. Far more navy blue than dark, “deep sapphire” as shown.
These are my new favorite shoes, I love them! They’re comfortable and they don’t scuff easily at work. I can also run in them comfortably. I’ve also gotten compliments on them.
