I've bought salt water sandals for my daughter every year for 6 years. They are the best in my opinion. They can be worn with everything and wear really well. She loves them too. Don't go by usual size measure first and find the saltwater guide.

I can't even begin to say how much I love Salt Water Sandals! My children, now 27 and 24 years old, wore them when they were little and now I get to buy my grandson's first pair!! These sandals are bulletproof! Wet, muddy, sandy - whatever state you find them in - they wash off with a hose and dry exactly the way they were! We passed down each of our pairs to friends and they passed them down when they were done! I will never forget the sweet little tan lines on my kids' feet! I highly recommend them!

I agree don't be put off by first review. Both my nine-year-old daughter and I wear Saltwater sandals - I bought hers because I found mine so incredibly comfortable. First wear you need to stretch the straps (as it tells you on the box), they are comfy straight away, but very quickly soften even more and seem to mould to shape of your feet. For my daughter I also initially soaked hers in water for five minutes and she wore until they were dry. This is her second pair as she loved her first pair so much. I often have problems finding comfortable sandals for me and now that I've found these I don't think I'll ever wear another sandal again! Love these sandals. This is my second pair. The sizing is good. They are very comfortable and I would definitely recommend them.
I get a pair of these for my daughter every year, usually the ones with the thicker soles but they’re not available in larger sizes. I find Salt water sandals always fit a bit larger than all her other shoes. Anyway, they’re very durable and can be worn in water which is ideal in summer. I love red shoes so I got her the red ones and surprisingly they work with most outfits. She loves them. Shipping was super quick!
I bought these sandals because my daughter loved the colour. The rose coloured leather goes with is versatile and looks smazing with all outfits:shorts or dresses. In addition, I find I am not worried about them becoming damaged as they are hard-wearing. The buckle is easy to use and has been mastered by my six year old little girl. No more having to do her shoes for her.Although a premium brand, and potentially more expensive than other sandals because they are also water proof means that we don't have to splurge on another pair of footwear for wading in water, or summer, water play fights. Looking forward to paddling in the sea with these. So much so, I'm thinking of getting myself a pair.
Initial fit is fine. I very much like the style and colour (claret). It's a bit too wide in the toe box area (this is wide, even very wide) for me you would need very wide or deep feet for it to fit perfectly. I am average width and quite flat feet. But because the fit is not deep in the same area I'm hoping it will continue, as the leather softens, to fit me well. Time will tell. The fitting around the ankle and heel are superb with good adjustablity. I have high hopes for these sandals and due to their cost (expensive) I'm hoping they will last me a few years.
These sandals are lovely and I can see they'd be hard wearing and last but they're no good for flat feet. There's no arch support so my daughters feet tilt into the inner part of the straps and they're very uncomfortable. It's a shame but will have to return for some Birkenstocks.
Comfortable scarlet sandals that look great with lots of summer clothes! I’m at an age where I need comfort but not ol' lady shoes! I wore them to the RA Summer show and this is them by the floor grill that could have been an exhibit…
As the sandals were too narrow for my feet I had to return them. I was disappointed as I have a pair of navy lace up shoes from Seasalt which fit perfectly and I had hoped that the sandals would be the same fit but unfortunately they weren’t.
