I agree don't be put off by first review. Both my nine-year-old daughter and I wear Saltwater sandals - I bought hers because I found mine so incredibly comfortable. First wear you need to stretch the straps (as it tells you on the box), they are comfy straight away, but very quickly soften even more and seem to mould to shape of your feet. For my daughter I also initially soaked hers in water for five minutes and she wore until they were dry. This is her second pair as she loved her first pair so much. I ordered these to wear to the cottage and they miraculously came JUST in time (thanks Well.ca and UPS!). A local shop had been reviewing them on Instagram, which is what sold me, however they were out of stock in my size/colour/style. These sandals are WATERPROOF. Yes. WATERPROOF. In fact, the company recommends wearing them in the water, as this makes them form to your feet. Each time I wore them wading in the lake, I noticed they dried quickly, and felt comfier. They looks great dressed down with jean shorts, or dressed up with a dress. They are stain-proof: stains don’t penetrate the surface and can be easily wiped off. I was considering birks, although they seem a little boyish for my taste. These are way cuter and more durable- I’m so glad I found them!

Great navy sandals for school but my girls also love wearing them with anything. Well worth the money. They have not been able to wear these out. They are comfy and don’t rub. They still look brand new when they are passed down to the next sibling. Little Treads customer service is fantastic. Very personalised. I needed to exchange for a larger size and response and delivery of other pair was very speedy. Thank you!

I bought these sandals because my daughter loved the colour. The rose coloured leather goes with is versatile and looks smazing with all outfits:shorts or dresses. In addition, I find I am not worried about them becoming damaged as they are hard-wearing. The buckle is easy to use and has been mastered by my six year old little girl. No more having to do her shoes for her.Although a premium brand, and potentially more expensive than other sandals because they are also water proof means that we don't have to splurge on another pair of footwear for wading in water, or summer, water play fights. Looking forward to paddling in the sea with these. So much so, I'm thinking of getting myself a pair.
Initial fit is fine. I very much like the style and colour (claret). It's a bit too wide in the toe box area (this is wide, even very wide) for me you would need very wide or deep feet for it to fit perfectly. I am average width and quite flat feet. But because the fit is not deep in the same area I'm hoping it will continue, as the leather softens, to fit me well. Time will tell. The fitting around the ankle and heel are superb with good adjustablity. I have high hopes for these sandals and due to their cost (expensive) I'm hoping they will last me a few years.
Finding sandals has always been a struggle for me, but the leather on these is so soft and feels wonderfully "broken in". I've logged lots of KMs already and have zero rubbing, which is huge for me! Please note that these don't have much support so they aren't the right shoe for serious walks. But for everyday? They're perfect. I've dressed them up and down. I also got caught in a rain storm in them and they still look brand new. Huge fan!
Quite a few of my friends have a pair and tell me how comfortable these are and long lasting. I was persuaded to purchase some. Haven’t worn them yet but they appear to be good quality leather, and I like the fact they can be worn in the sea. Had to buy two pairs for sizing because I am between sizes. The shoes have US sizing and come up small. The soles are flip flop flat. I would prefer a bit more of a sole but I am going to give them a try.
These sandals are absolutely amazing! Definitely one of the best purchases I have ever made for my feet. I bought them to wear for hiking in the humid mountains of the Philippines - specifically to go and see the rice terraces in Batad. The trip of a lifetime!!! I have really annoying feet that are super tricky to find comfotable shoes for, so was worried these would give me blisters or that the straps would dig in and cut me. This has happened to me throughtout my life and really makes walking painful. Even Clarks' ballet flats do that to me! And I was especially worried with these because I hadn't even had time to wear them round the house before I set off. But they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I feel I have ever owned! My first pair of Salt-Water sandals and I was so surprised by how comfortable they were straight away. The fit is perfect for my slim feet and they are very supportive, which is something that I need. This design in rose gold colour is super stylish too.
I'd love these, but I already know from looking at them that, even more than some of your other sandals, these will not have room for a high arched foot with depth from top of foot to instep. I don't know who makes your shoes, but many of them, particularly the sandals, allow no room for an arched foot.I love your styles, but you don't make shoes for people who don't have a narrow, shallow foot. Maybe reconsider a couple of styles?
