I can't even begin to say how much I love Salt Water Sandals! My children, now 27 and 24 years old, wore them when they were little and now I get to buy my grandson's first pair!! These sandals are bulletproof! Wet, muddy, sandy - whatever state you find them in - they wash off with a hose and dry exactly the way they were! We passed down each of our pairs to friends and they passed them down when they were done! I will never forget the sweet little tan lines on my kids' feet! I highly recommend them!

My boy absolutely loves these!! He's barely taken them off. Great flexibility and fit well. The tips from saltwater about getting the fit right initially were super helpful and the water trick helped to soften the shoes and help with sore spots in the early days!

I agree don't be put off by first review. Both my nine-year-old daughter and I wear Saltwater sandals - I bought hers because I found mine so incredibly comfortable. First wear you need to stretch the straps (as it tells you on the box), they are comfy straight away, but very quickly soften even more and seem to mould to shape of your feet. For my daughter I also initially soaked hers in water for five minutes and she wore until they were dry. This is her second pair as she loved her first pair so much. I often have problems finding comfortable sandals for me and now that I've found these I don't think I'll ever wear another sandal again! She's very particular how things look and these pass the test! They are the best value sandal I have found, they last really well, and the washable feature is so fantastic. Great navy sandals for school but my girls also love wearing them with anything. Well worth the money. They have not been able to wear these out. They are comfy and don’t rub. They still look brand new when they are passed down to the next sibling. Little Treads customer service is fantastic. Very personalised. I needed to exchange for a larger size and response and delivery of other pair was very speedy. Thank you!
I get a pair of these for my daughter every year, usually the ones with the thicker soles but they’re not available in larger sizes. I find Salt water sandals always fit a bit larger than all her other shoes. Anyway, they’re very durable and can be worn in water which is ideal in summer. I love red shoes so I got her the red ones and surprisingly they work with most outfits. She loves them. Shipping was super quick!
I bought these sandals because my daughter loved the colour. The rose coloured leather goes with is versatile and looks smazing with all outfits:shorts or dresses. In addition, I find I am not worried about them becoming damaged as they are hard-wearing. The buckle is easy to use and has been mastered by my six year old little girl. No more having to do her shoes for her.Although a premium brand, and potentially more expensive than other sandals because they are also water proof means that we don't have to splurge on another pair of footwear for wading in water, or summer, water play fights. Looking forward to paddling in the sea with these. So much so, I'm thinking of getting myself a pair.
We have had this brand in the past when my child was much younger and they were great. Our recent purchase of these (after a few years of not having them) was a little disappointing. I can't quite work out why they feel different, but they feel stiff and almost too long in the toe area.
My little one asked me for these because she went to a new school and other kids were wearing them. She literally hasn't worn anything else since! Such a great buy.
I have had these before , no complaints from kids for comfort they wear all day. They never seem to become scuffed , they always look shiny and new and ready to wear out with their best outfits . love them!
