I am very pleased with these scales. The display is very clear. They are to replace a set of Salter scales that I have had for a while and they were giving different readings in different parts of the room on carpet. They were fitted with the carpet feet too. So far this new set seem to be working correctly.

this digital scale is simply a bathroom scale. All I want to know is what I weigh.
I couldnt alter the kilos stones and pounds. I found a little piece of flimsy plastic which broke off underneath next to the battery which snapped off s soon a you touched it. Also when you press the digital scales to reset them. I was pressing them several times in different places before they worked.
Salter bathroom scales which I recently bought for 9:99, yes thats right, 9:99 is a fantastic good value which is amazingly able to work in kilos and grams, and at the press of a button change to pounds and ounces.
The two tone scales look great, very stylish. The scales are accurate and consistent. I have had trouble in the past with other cheaper brands that were up to 0.4kg out. The main reason I bought these scales, over the more popular bodyfat measuring scales, is that I have a pacemaker and these scales do not interfere with my implanted medical device. Body fat scales pass a small electric current through your body that interfere with pacemaker operation and these scales do not have this feature; which is great for me. I had to abandon the use of my old scales due to adverse reactions in my heart following pacemaker installation.
The amount I weighed varied considerably every time I went on them. Sometimes as much as 4llbs. They are on a flat surface , so that is not the problem. I lost confidence in them on my third weigh in which I did 5 minutes after the second and first,
I bought these for my daughter and unfortunately they are very unreliable. It comes with "carpet feet" which one would assume makes them suitable for use on a carpet. However, when used on carpet she weighs 3kg lighter than on a tiled bathroom floor. This seems an enormous differential and she has no idea what she actually weighs. I bought these because I have had Salter scales for over a decade and they have been terrific. Such a shame that the new version is so disappointing.
Easy set up with a heavy weight limit. Salter are a long established company so the quality is first class. They are also very stylish in design.
