I’ve just finished my first bag of these. I recently tried the Hickory version too. I’ve been really impressed by them.I’ve tried quite a few brands. I have experienced flame outs with some brands. Some are too soft so they crumble easily when they’re being handled and going through the auger of the smoker. Some create too much ash. Some can’t achieve higher temperatures.The Smoke n Grill pellets perform well. I have cooked with them at a range of temperatures ranging from 180°F to 300°F. I have also tested them at higher temperatures. They had no issues getting my smoker up to 600°F.They provide a good level of smoke, great flavour and respond well to temperature adjustments.
