Useless suitcase. Avoid at all costs. Warranty is a sham.I have used it once on a short weekend trip. The suitcase was lightly loaded (14-15kg). The whole side of the case collapsed due when wheeling it in the airport. The structure is clearly not strong enough or there is an issue with the manufacturing/plastic thickness.I spoke to the repair centre in the London store, showed them the photo of the issue. They said to bring it in as it's clearly a fault. When I took it in a few weeks later, they claimed no knowledge of the conversation. They wouldn't take the suitcase in for repair/replacement. I really love the build quality of the European-made Samsonite cases, having bought several older models in the past (which I still have and are still going very strong!). This model is no exception, and even though this is the "entry level" model from the EU-made range, it punches well above it's weight in terms of build quality, for the money.The wheels are incredibly smooth on this case and the entire case feels reassuringly strong and sturdy. The handle action is smooth but robust and isn't inclined to twist and deform when pushing the case along on all 4 wheels. The slightly larger diameter wheels also help on rougher terrain.The included zip-up compartment inserts are really clever. They can be secured to one of two sets of hanging points inside - the lower set is useful if you don't have quite enough to fill the inserts completely, as they pull down slightly on the inserts.I also really like the 3 point latches (one on the top and bottom along with the main centre latch). Unlike my older models, this new model has a slide-switch style interlock to stop the top/bottom latches from inadvertantly being opened during rough-handling. This makes the case much easier to open/close, whilst remaining an excellent secondary safety lock.It took me a minute our two to figure out how to change the combination on the main lock (the instructions could have been a tad clearer - Samsonite chose to go with the IKEA approach of no words, just pictures), but once I interpreted the diagrams correctly, it was an easy job.In short, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this case. The design, along with quality construction make this a no-brainer purchase. Yes it's more expensive that the far-eastern made products that litter various major online retailers. However this will be a case you'll still have in 15 years time!

Easy to pack, easy rolling, easy locking. The packing cubes you can remove quick and simple, which make them super easy to clean.Only thing I regret is that you get a selection of 4 random selected stickers. Having both the 75 and 68cm case; I'd liked it to have the same sticker on both of them. And they scratch fairly easily. Changing the code on the lock was a little challenging.Took it on a two week trip, and had to pack for different climates; change of season. I do not pack light. Always bring too much stuff! Completely full it didn't exceed the 23kg for the flight. It survived the first trip as expected.Have 6 samsonite cases, different models and price scales; frequent flyer.
