As per the other review, great suitcase but major design flaw. Despite what Samsonite says above, it is impossible for the suitcase to expand even when stuffed full (I got multiple people to try but no luck and all agreed it's a bad design). The way it is constructed means that the elastic seam cannot actually expand. Super frustrated that this doesn't work properly and will be returning it to the store for a refund.

It's a fantastic suitcase that is very stylish and lightweight. Love the dark green colour. However, the expansion feature has a major design flaw and does not work properly, even when the bag is full (despite the hinge being designed to expand). As the outside zips are sewn to the shell of the case in the same way as the internal zips, it's not possible to expand it at the hinge so you end up with a lopsided bag with expansion on the top, bottom, and left hand side of the case. It's great to use without the expansion but with the two sets of zips, you have to open it's really annoying - will need to cut out the internal expansion zips to use it since they don't sell a non-expandable option.
