I have never had a front loader before but decided to bite the bullet so to speak as I had been very disappointed with my last top loader. I am very pleased with my machine so far it washes beautifully. love the tune it plays when finished too

I am very excited and happy with my new Samsung washing machine.The 9.5kg capacity is great, and the length of the wash is only marginly longer than my 17 year old 6kg machine. I feel like I am washing less often!All the clothes are coming out nice and clean. I do like the option of an extra rinse cycle (water storage levels permitting).I have yet to use the AddWash door. For me it just gets in the way of checking how the washing is going, as you have to bend right down to see what is happening in the drum.That said, having a digital display of how much time is left overcomes that a little bit!Thank you Samsung for a great machine, and Appliances Online for great service.

So pleased with this machine. I have had a Samsung before and been happy with it - this is no different. Very gentle on the clothes, quiet, minimal vibration during spin and has a generous capacity. Add wash feature is great too for that sock that always gets dropped on the way... very pleased with appliance online service too - delivery guys were great, arrived on time, installed the machine, took away the rubbish and all in less than 24 hours after placing the order!
This washing machine does a really good job of cleaning your clothes and I do love it, it’s just unfortunate that two weeks after buying it, there was an issue with the locking mechanism of the door. It happened on a weekend when no one was available for repair. A bit disappointed that it happened so soon after purchasing it. Saying that though, the repair was quick in the end and Samsung replaced the door. Seems to have fixed the issue.The machine does do a very good job of washing clothes and the size is awesome.
We’ve had it almost a month and I must admit I’ve given it a workout. This is my second machine as my previous one was purchased with our house when we sold it and I had that one for a couple of years. This time I bought the largest capacity but I can’t see much difference from the 8kg one I had before. What I love the most is the little door that allows me to add items during a wash. This is very handy for things that may have been missed or not put in the washing basket. It has many cycles and I haven’t used them all. I’ve had top loaders and front loaders and I can say with confidence that the front loaders wash better and use less water. This is something everyone should consider when buying any product with the water restrictions now in place.
I had the Samsung 7.5 kg prior which I loved, and when that died I upgraded to this 9.5kg Samsung with the forgetfulness door because the two things I wanted was to be able to put things in when the wash is on and to have a slightly bigger drum to wash my king size doona when our cats do a wee on it. It (just!!) fits my king size doona (it’s a very heavy one, if you have one that doesn’t have a high weight per sq it’ll fit easier) and the door works brilliantly for those forgotten socks or kids clothes you invariably find elsewhere after you put a wash on. With the shorter cycle you can add on the bubble wash and put it as a heavy load to make it longer if you fill it full.Note: always leave door open on any washing machine to prevent mould growth. It also helps to make sure you are using longer wash cycles to completely rid the machine of bacteria and germs after each load.
This machine would be decent if it had a good child lock. You can switch the machine off at the power button when the child lock feature is on. Connecting it to the WiFi through the app is an ordeal. Maybe Samsung should go back to manufacturing great products instead of the mediocre ones they are doing now.
Returning to front-loaders after many a year (primarily to wash large items such as blankets, doonas and dog beds) I am delighted with this machine! First day of installment 3 large dog beds washed considerably cleaner, and insanely easier than doing it by hand in the bathtub and spinning in the top loader. Duvet covers, doonas, pillows etc are a doddle to launder in addition to delicates and woolens, plus it has a fabulous quick wash and soooo many other sensible options I can't even begin to describe them all. We love it!
