This product fails miserably to deliver expected high speed transfers. Samsung claims file transfer speeds are UP TO 130 Mb/s. Technically, this is true, but only because any number between 0 and 130 can be considered UP TO 130. The reality from my experience is a high of 23 Mb/s, an alarming 107 Mb/s slower than the potential highest speed. Yes, I know many factors have to be considerd - internet connection, computer, etc. While my setup is far from superlative, it is certainly capable of file transfer speeds of up to 130 Mb/s. I use a Lenovo IdeaPad 3. Connection is Xfinity Broadband with speeds up to 300 Mb/s. My computer and one mobile phone are the only devices connected to the network. The product itself delivers less than 18 percent of its alleged potential (17.69 percent of its alleged top speed). I am impressed by the enormous storage capacity (477 GB) but that is overshadowed by its dismal speed performance. Overall, performance was most important to me with this product, far outweighing features and design, resulting in a deserved one star rating. I will credit Samsung for its phrasing of "UP TO" involving transfer speed. It is not a lie, it's just unlikely to happen. In the same context, everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time.

I am usually a fan of sanDisk Ultra or sanDisk Extreme for my iPod classic HDD to microSD card conversion. (Now 256gb expandable upto 4Tb). I have 11600 songs to sync when I have freshly restored an iPod 7th gen.Just one 128gb Samsung Evo microSD card (keeping the other 128gb sanDisk Ultra, to total 256gb) has reduced my syncing time by one hour.Reviews online show the Evo write speeds are about 2.5 time faster.I am impressed with my choice of Samsung for this application and great value.

I’ve used it for continuous recording on a 4K security camera for a few weeks now. I wanted to use a trusted brand for my camera as this is for my home security. The card handles all the formats of the security camera very well. I’ve used different resolutions and it performs to class U3 specs flawlessly.I’ve used the card outdoors now, it performs as advertised. It works exceptionally well in snow, cold, and rainy weather. During ice cold weather it recorded 4K without issues.I recommend this card as it is very reliable and well built and comes with everything you need.

[Rewarded Review] Best SD Memory Card
15 August 2024

I bought this a couple a months ago, and since I got a new Samsung Phone I could use it in my phone, and I put it up. When I got a nintendo switch last month I retrieved my Samsung SDXD card and put it in my switch. This card is holding up well, it is just 1 of 4 that I have and I store all my download games on them and have a small book that has the card size and list of games on that card. This Samsung 256 gig SDXD card has the most games on it.This Samsung 256 GIG SDXD card is the only one out of the 4 I have that has never given me an issue. The other bards have all given me an issue.I will be buying 9 more of these to use with my Nintendo Switch.I recommend this SD Memory Card to anyone I talk to that is looking for reliable SD Memory for any application

My mom and I tested this SD card and everything worked great it seems faster than other cards when uploading files such as pictures and documents. It has plenty of storage and can work in a lot of different devices. The price is great it is worth the money. It is high quality and worked better than expectedIt is waterproof, temperature proof, wear-out proof, X-ray proof, magnetic proof, and drop proof. It has a 10yr warranty which I hope they honor if the time comes. The adapter helps for my laptop. I'm glad that I don't have to shop for a separate one. The interface is greatthank you.

[Rewarded Review] Fantastic MicroSD Card - Fast & Inexpensive
28 May 2024

This Samsung EVO Plus 512GB microSDXC memory card is the perfect microSD card for all purposes. I use it to play songs in my car. It fits perfectly into the microSD card slot using the included adapter. With 512GB, I am able to keep a huge selection of music with me at all times that I can easily listen to on the go. Transfer speeds are fast and it easily was recognized by my desktop PC. It's literally plug in and go! So easy to use. It's Samsung so you know you are getting the highest quality memory card on the market.

[Rewarded Review] Great Micro SD card lots of space
28 May 2024

This great Micro SD card can do everything. I intially thought it wouldn’t handle my GoPro camera and it was well fitted for my use. I have used this card for several occasions and I don’t have to run to upload the files since this can fit so many videos and photos. It is easy to use and I know that it can be used in any type of digital media.Samsung may be outdoing itself my making this size available. But for long term use it is the best and knowing that it probably can be used over and over.I would like to see a higher size maybe 1tb and see if that is possible in this format.

[Rewarded Review] Samsung Evo Plus micro SDXC 512 GB is a beast!
23 October 2024

I bought the Samsung Evo Plus Micro SDXC 512 GB microSD card maybe about 6 months ago. During that time I've transferred this micro SD card between three or four phones, I never once did I have to reformat the micro SD card. I would literally take this micro SD card from one phone and install it into the next, and I would have absolutely no problems accessing the data that I already had stored on the card. I would take it from one phone and pop it in the next, all of the data I've already written to the card would still be there and accessible in the new phone, and the new phone would seamlessly write new data onto the micro SD card. As far as I'm concerned, Samsung data storage devices are bulletproof and the industry standard no doubt about it.
