If you're like me and you only have a smartphone to make calls, send texts, surf the internet, listen to music on programs such as YouTube, shop on places like Amazon, and take nice photo, this is a great phone. Don't expect it to act like a high end Galaxy. This A25 is fast as far as sliding from screen to screen or opening and using apps, including games, just don't expect it to play really high end games as well as a high end phone would. The AMOLED screen is beautiful and can get as bright as I need under most lighting conditions. The service and signal of the A25 has been good for me. There are many many settings to go through per recommendations on YouTube. Overall you are getting one heck of a phone with a year of unlimited talk and text for around $200. How can can you beat that? My only gripe was setting the phone up. I had to recruit my son to create an account with Samsung. Older Tracfones did not require this Samsung registration process. I did need to call Tracphone to assist with set up. They were easy to get in touch with and did a great job setting up my phone. Overall the setup process is not as easy as it could be.

Since high school (which is more years ago than I'd like to admit) I've been very into smart phones due to the ease of carrying one device for everything, rather than having to lug a digital camera and a video camera about with me. And this A25 5G by Samsung is by far the best of the best.As a creative, the ease of use for the camera is fantastic. It is very easy to adjust the settings just as if I were using a dslr camera. On top of this, the images it captures are crisp, with true colors and a variety of features to tweak images with if one so desires. This is useful for not only social media and personal use, but for capturing artistic visions of the world around us.I don't just use my phone for photography, however. It is quite literally my lifeline. I love ... I also regularly use it for my writing. It was super easy to download my favorite word prossessor and I am able to just let the Samsung software transcribe my ideas. It goes a lot faster than if I were to pull out my big old laptop and type manually. I love the convenience. It came with nearly everything I needed pre-installed. This saved so much time getting set up. Then the ability to use the account transfer option to put my images &ct. on this device from my last made life so easy in the transition.I love this phone. I'm never going back to the competition.

I eventually acquired one from John Lewis whom I have bought from many times previously. Compared to my previous phone with is 3g only, my A25 utilising both 4 and 5g seems light years ahead making me very pleased with my choice. Also with my old phone also being a Samsung it made setting up and transferring everything so much easier. At some point I will try out the cameras to their full potential, both stills and video but just using them on basic settings I have been very impressed, also viewing the photos on the extremely high quality screen is another great aspect of the phone. All in all I am extremely pleased with my new Samsung A25 and would thoroughly recommend it.

great. Face recognition is spot on. Fingerprint recognition is perfect. I've had the phone a few weeks now and it hasn't let me down yet. Very fast and very responsive given that the specs on this phone are considered the low of the low from Samsung. If you use your phone mainly for calls, texts, Facebook type apps, some web browsing, etc., you will be satisfied. I've even installed some games like Candy Crush and they work flawlessly.Battery life is outstanding. I went 2 full days using this phone like crazy, screen cranked up to the brightest setting and it was still at 54% power. The screen resolution looks fine to me. Honestly, unless you're sitting it next to some super high end phone, you will never see anything subpar about it.I highly recommend this ... Moregreat. Face recognition is spot on. Samsung does it again with another nice quality phone. The only cons would be, one - the camera quality is on the lower end. I'm not a big picture taker so that isn't an issue for me. The second, Samsung doesn't give you a charger.
The Samsung A-series, is beyond a reasonable doubt, an affordable, yet esthetically appealing in terms of design & color choices. (Coming from a momentary homeless guy)But they don't just look great....I've owned several models, from the cheaper to the more expensive. They're ALL worth having. The A03s is the most budget-friendly, yet not only has the feel of an advanced, higher quality model, it still has most of higher tech hardware and software. I've owned the A03s, A14, A15, A25, and A51. All of them are available in a variety of hardware combinations, with memory storage ranging from 32, 64, 128, or even 256 GB & with either 4, 6, or 8 GB of RAM.My most recent model (Samsung Galaxy A25) has 128 GB storage with 6GB RAM. It's very very fast, almost NEVER laggy. Only times I've experience lag was once or twice during Mobile Data service issues, which is completely irrelevant & separate to the phone's fault or responsibility. & believe me 128 GB I'd a LOT of storage.I can't even imagiIne 256GB.. I've only reached half of my storage capacity and I have over 300+ apps.. 315 to be exact, & at least 275 of those are apps I've installed personally. WAYY more than I need. The Samsung Galaxy A-series I can't imagine the phones like the Galaxy S24 ULTRA.. that come with Galaxy AI?? I mean, seriously? My A25 feels like it's Artificially Intelligent already by itself, and it's NOT even considered AI or equipped with Galaxy AI.. I think my brain would short circuit... Ha!
I've been using this phone for about a week and am pleased with the purchase. I upgraded from a Galaxy A10e, mostly because the internal memory was filling up and the phone was getting slow, otherwise I liked it too. The A25 is a little bigger, and the screen seems just a little clearer. I've noticed more options for customization in the settings. Switching over from the previous Tracfone was easy and I did it without assistance. I did call Tracfone prior to activating as I wanted to be sure I wouldn't lose data from it in the transfer, and I got good help which consisted of being given a website. I ended up completing the setup on my PC as a popup on the phone's screen kept me going in circles. Only one thing about the A25 is not as good as the A10e and that has to ... I ended up completing the setup on my PC as a popup on the phone's screen kept me going in circles. Only one thing about the A25 is not as good as the A10e and that has to do with something I'd expect not many people use. I use Bluetooth to connect my cell phone to my cordless phone base so I can pickup calls on handsets strategically located all over the house regardless of whether I'm near to my cell phone. The audio on the handsets is not nearly as good as the A10e, but people on the other end hear me well. Since the Bluetooth works fine in the car and to Bluetooth speakers, I suspect this is an issue with the Panasonic cordless phone and not the new Galaxy.
Really like this phone, my first Samsung, after having a four year old Nokia. Obviously next gen and packed with features. Great screen and camera.Battery life is not as long as I hoped due to running Bluetooth and virus software in the background but does last a long day after a full charge. I did have an issue where the phone kept flashing between different screens I think because of a particular app and I managed to restart it which cleared the problem. Otherwise the O.S seems to run reliably and fast on this phone. Only other problem I had was that I turned on the two screen tap wake up and sleep to save the side button over the long term but unfortunately the phone woke up in my pocket and called the emergency services leading to a rather embarrassing ... Build quality is great. Lovely feel to my 1st ever new Samsung phone. Picked up 1st June 2024.The free on-line manual from Samsung is well worth downloading, I did download it & studied it before buying the A25 5G on an offer.Settings nice & clear, take your time. Also, another big plus with Samsung, you can delete apps that most older people may not need. I delete the likes of Facebook, X, & others that are not free. That was locked on the G8 Power. Could disable them.Used the auto set up & copied all from my G8 Power, Not apps or Google acc.To honest the manual set is much easier as that's what did for my G/F's new A25 5G.Do need to set up a free Samsung account, as when doing the one for G/F. It would not finish all the set stuff.Nothing bad to report with the free Samsung Account. I did set a free Samsung Account on my laptop before I did buy the A25 5G from retailer. Then I did the Google Accounts, very straightforward. On the Samsung Acc, I would say best to have one each, or could get in a right pickle with text codes for logging into the Samsung. This is a long-term mob for us & the only make that comes with 5 years of up-dates. So not rushing to use it.As of the 24th June 2024. Not using it full-time yet, but it's already just need to put my SIM card in it.No need to buy charger plug. The A25 5G can charge at 25 watt with a 25 watt charger plug would need to buy one, but in setting under battery it states for long life of battery set it to only charge to 85% & use slower charge rate. The battery comes 60% charged out of the box, BUT make sure to do a full charge before think of turning on the new A25 5G. I did my 2nd charge from 40% to 85% in one hour & 20 mins on standard charge rate using my 18 watt charger plug from my G8 Power.
The only reason why I'm finally replacing my phone after 5 years is because the port to charge it is having issues. This galaxy has been the nest phone I have owned.I'm a minimalist who likes just s little extra and that's exactly what I got with this phone. Using apps has always been a breeze. Any game I wanted to play I did. The video quality while streaming is still amazing. The video quality that I have taken, along with photos is still amazing. The battery life is just as it was on day one when it is charged.Lastly lets think about its toughness. I have a case on it but it's the same case since my initial purchase. I have dropped this phone so many times that I'm surprised it still works properly. I have yet to experience any issues with functionality ...
