A Dream after a nightmare

Ive been an iPhone user most of my life. But anyone that knows Apple, know their desktop software sucks. Finally had enough after "unspecified errors" syncing. Bought this on 15th June 2020 and I was wary of setting up and using a new OS. However, this phone buts my iPhone 11 pro in the shade! easy to use, a cinch to transfer data, screen response is brilliant and the downloads? I would have to wait hours for an iPhone upgrade but this, zip-zap, its done! I am SOOO happy I switched. Photos are crisp, music is dynamite. Recommend to those who want a simple, snazzy, reliable phone.

A good all-rounder

Good response, battery life & bright screen. Calls are clear in all conditions. Great to have 5G in this mid-range phone. Security & support are paramount to me. Android support was woeful before but Android manafacturers are finally coming to the table, realising people hold on to their phones longer and some are now offering at least 5 years of updates. Not only that, but Samsung offer 4 years of Android OS upgrades on this phone, as far as I know, the only manafacturer to do so on their phones (note, each phone/model can vary, so you should check). This reason alone along with the 5 years of support is why I chose Samsung for the first time.

I've had Apples, Nokia Sony this as good as the Apples i had. Runs rings around all other brands. Screen quality and cameras as incredible for the price range. My previous phone was struggling and fortunately died on the day of rhe Good guys birthday sale. Given the birthday sale and discounts with concierge $439 was a fantastic deal for a Samsung 5G. Only downside is I'd love to get rid of Google assistant, it's painfully annoying.

I'm really impressed with this mid-range phone. The first thing that caught my eye was the affordable price point, after using it for a week, I can confidently say that it's worth every penny. The design is sleek and modern, and it feels comfortable in my hand. The screen is bright and clear, and I've enjoyed streaming videos and browsing the web on it. The battery life has been great too, lasting me almost 2 days with moderate use. The camera may not be as advanced as some of Samsung's higher-end models, but it still takes great photos and videos. Overall, I would highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy A33 to anyone looking for a quality mid-range phone that won't break the bank. Great for the price

The only con is the notch, which I got used to in an hour of usage. Fast and snappy device - not flagship level ofc. I am not a gamer, but when I'm bored I like to play casual games, like Asphalt 9, angry birds etc and does the job perfect. It charges faster than I expected. With the 25W Samsung charger, a day of moderate use can be charged back in 15-20 min. We can lock charging to 85%, and battery saver locks cpu to 70% max power, which I love! Display is great, camera is generally a meh, unless taken in sunlight. So, the 5nm processor is doing its job well. Water resistance is helpful For a multi-media consumer who is not into photography( though they are rare), this is the perfect device. And I think A53 isn't worth the upgrade

Great phone for a snatched price!

I contemplated on getting the new Pixel 7 Pro but then later researched that not much has changed. Upon the Black Friday sales I stumbled upon this phone. Previously I owned the Samsung S10 which I very much enjoyed but needed an upgrade. Although this phone isn't the Samsung S20, it feels like it is and the screen size is perfect for the standards of smart phones. Back camera I do find a bit slow when taking photos but when it does, it's amazing! (A little too warm for my liking though). The speed is not AMAZING but it is an upgrade from the S10. This phone suits my needs and would be a great gift for any parent or elderly for them to use. Not too advanced and too expensive. (Just be careful because you may need to get the phone a cover as it is a bit slippery in ... MoreI contemplated on getting the new Pixel 7 Pro but then later researched that not much has changed. Meets all my basic needs!
10 March 2023

I got the phone as a reliable device that would last. The promised 5 years of software updates and the Protect Battery feature makes me optimistic in this aspect. Basically competent in speed, camera quality and software features although it experiences lag occasionally. Physical design and features are fine, with a great OLED screen for the price. Battery life is great as well and I basically do not have to worry about it.

New Phone - Way to Go!
21 September 2022

This was a 10 year upgrade for me so the initial set-up required my son. With assistance I was able to copy all my data and settings easily and get going. It is taking me a little adjustment to get the swiping directions but the phone is lovely. Screen is clear and battery life so far is unbelievable. Photos are great and videos are also really clear. I miss my old sounds but technology! What can you do?

Samsung Galaxy A33 Review: A Great Budget-Friendly
10 March 2023

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy A33 and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. This budget-friendly phone offers many features that are typically found on more expensive models. Additionally, I've received several compliments on the phone's appearance since I've been using a navy-blue cover and a black and navy-blue wallpaper. People who see my phone immediately ask about the type and brand, and often remark on how beautiful it looks. The camera quality is exceptional and captures beautiful pictures and videos, even in low light. Battery life is another standout feature, allowing me to use the phone throughout the day without worrying about recharging. The only area I would suggest for improvement is the speaker quality, which could be a bit louder.

Solid mid-tier phone
26 October 2022

It's not the fastest phone (it occasionally lags), but it's the best value phone I could find in this price range. One of the big benefits of the phone is that you get four major Android OS updates. With 128GB of storage available, and support for a 1TB SD card, you're also unlikely to ever run out of room. Another thing I noticed is that the 4G reception on this phone is better than my last 4G phone. So calls within buildings are far more likely to be crystal clear. Being Samsung, it's also easier to repair than some of the Chinese brands.
