This device is overall a great device, especially as i got it for £100 off through offer, plus my trase in device value., would recommend for casual gaming and in-between. I personally use GPS anlot when travelling in public transport, and it's working well so far. One thing to note however, is that during extended periods of gaming(35 min+), the game stutters around 15-25% of time, animations may get a little jerky, and the device starts to heat up. However, the game itself is still playable and I have not observed any crashes as of far. Rest of navigation through UI on daily use is great, though there may be the occasional hiccup, though is less than 5% of time. Everything else to my knowledge is working as it should, and the device itself is great! The system also clearly denotes which picture has been remastered, for those who need to know what is what. Also, just to brag a little, i found a feature somilar to the iphone 14 pro, wherein you hokd a picture of a person, it will make a cutout of person to save in background (it extracts subject from picture, thouhmgh have only tried it on persons) Also, the 4 generations of OS support (each generation approximates a year), and 5 years of security patches/maintenance guarantees on this device are an extra bonus which really compelled me to buy this device, especially as I look to really do online banking in the near future. Would definitely recommend for anyone into samsung, anybody who need phone for at least 4-5 years, or anybody who needs a good practical, and mostly stable device.

A month after purchasing this phone and i really like the look and feel of this model. I'm very impressed with the camera which has taken some superb photos. The phone is very responsive and the calls are clear. One of the selling points for me purchasing this phone was the large capacity battery. After reading reviews online many echoed how good the battery life was. Sadly, however, this is not something that I have experienced with this phone. The battery seems to deplete very quickly when the screen is on. I tend to use the phone for web browsing, messaging, listening to spotify, watching the very occasional you tube video. I am, however, disappointed with the phone I have been issued due to the poor performance and I sadly regret purchasing this product.

I am also very impressed by the A34.My old iPhone SE was dying and I needed a replacement. I didn't want to spend too much so I got the Samsung A34 because my partner got the Samsung A53 and I was very impressed. Screen is just excellent and the Samsung Android interface is pretty straight forward to get use to (myself coming from iOS).Although the screen size is good for web pages and even video, I do find the phone a bit big for my pockets (the iPhone SE was much smaller). Only really a small compromise for me. So much more customisation possible in Android (something I didn't really know I was missing in iOS).Battery life is excellent and I get around 3.5 days from each charge. Charges pretty quickly too - do bear in mind this doesn't come with a charger. ... MoreI am also very impressed by the A34.My old iPhone SE was dying and I needed a replacement. Comes with face detection unlock too so you have a few choices for security.Transferring from iOS was pretty painless - except for WhatApp chat history (make sure you look up how to do this. You need a fresh Android phone for the messages to transfer properly!)So far no serious problems. After a couple of weeks of use, I'm still finding notifications and settings are a bit fiddly. No doubt I will get use to how these work (just different compared to iOS).All in all, I am really pleased with the A34 and the Samsung UI and would totally recommend this to my friends. - it's just an excellent phone and also really good value.

This phone is quite big, but thin and doesn't weigh much. So there is a big screen, which is easy to tap on as works well but not too much sensitive. The graphics are also quite good. All the info copied from my previous phone in a very effective way.It has a memory of 254gb and is possible to add a tf card of maximum 1TB extra of capacity, which is a lot. It also has the option to update itself without having to do nothing. The battery is 5000mah. I left it 24h on standby and it only spent 7% battery, so if it's used only for calling it can last long time.I couldn't find an entry for earphones, which to me is not good as the Bluetooth earphones always end up being lost. The maximum volume for the speakers is not massive, but average. However, the volume with ... MoreThis phone is quite big, but thin and doesn't weigh much. The maximum volume for the speakers is not massive, but average. However, the volume with earphones is quite loud. The outer camera does good pictures. The inner camera, right as in others phones, hasn't got enough sharpness in my opinion. The settings come up quite easy-to-follow.I also downloaded a free screen for my phone that is quite funny and original. The box only included a cable to charge and a pin to open the card slot. As it's supposed to be a fast charging phone, it would be great that Samsung included a fast charging socket too, on the box, much more thinking on the price paid. Not having it represents to wait much longer to charge it or spend extra money in the socket. It also surprised me the lack of possibility of charging it wireless. I simply expected this to be an essential nowadays.
Having owned countless flagship Galaxy phones, this mid-range phone intrigued me. Expectations were honestly on the low side but I was proved so wrong.Build quality is superb, it looks more premium than the plastic materials might suggest. I love the lime colour and the phone feels good in the hand. Its 6.6” 120Hz Super AMOLED screen is vibrant, bright and sharp. The teardrop notch is a disappointment, it’s easily ignored, but looks a little dated.Samsung has managed to pack a decent chipset along with 6Gb RAM and 128Gb of storage inside. After installing over 200 apps I didn’t notice any lag or performance issues, and apps load very quickly. Memory is expandable with a MicroSD card. Also included is an under screen fingerprint reader, that has proved very reliable. It has 5G connectivity, NFC and hefty 5000mAh battery, which easily gives a solid day of relatively heavy use.Audio is also impressive through stereo speakers, they’re loud enough and have more bass than anticipated with no distortion at full volume. There’s no headphone jack though.Camera line up is as expected for a mid-ranger, sporting a 48MP lens with OIS, an ultrawide and a macro on the back and selfie on the front. Images have vibrant colours, good dynamic range and high contrast. Low light images again are surprisingly good, there’s a night mode to assist if necessary. Overall I am very impressed with the camera’s capabilities. This phone has a lot to offer at its price point and Samsung have done a great job. Whilst It lacks wireless charging, and no charger in the box, and has that teardrop notch, at this price point it’s just nit-picking. You get an attractive design, a superb quality screen, excellent battery life, impressive performance and great quality photos and videos.I am actually blown away. This is a smartphone that I highly recommend.
I bought this phone to replace a well used Samsung S9+ so a hard act to follow. I traded off some features that are not on my new phone but I had little use for the 'extras' so opted for an update. I have had mobiles since the first Nokia 'brick' and this is the first phone I have bought new as the rest have been hand me downs or refurbs. I am retired now so can have some treats. This is a big phone and once it has a cover its also chunky but I prefer a bigger phone. The screen is large so I use it now a lot more for internet use as a scaled down Tablet. So far so good. Samsung Smart Switch and initial setup was simple and user friendly and connectivity to my other tablets, etc including car has been easy. Samsung Smart Switch and initial setup was simple and user friendly and connectivity to my other tablets, etc including car has been easy. I also like the free watch I got via the Samsung redemption and because I bought direct it came the same day as the mobile. For everyday use its absolutely fine. Easy for texting and Face time and I'm not finding any issues as yet. Its a step up from my S9+ as the screen is far superior when operating in full sun. Customer service, delivery etc has been faultless and quick but I am the sort of person that likes to figure things out myself and that's also been very easy. I am happy with the price and its overall speed and I also use the expandable memory slot for further storage. The camera is great and I use it regularly for both business records and leisure. The phone is the all round item for when I start travelling in a few weeks and eliminates carrying other media devices. So far so good!
I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G and I'm very impressed with its features, performance, design, and value. It has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, which makes everything look smooth and bright. The performance is fast and smooth, whether I'm browsing the web, playing games, or multitasking. The phone also supports 5G connectivity, which gives me faster speeds and lower latency. The phone has a microSD card slot that allows me to expand the storage up to 1TB, which is very convenient. The phone has a massive 5000mAh battery that lasts for up to two days on a single charge. The phone also supports 25W wired charging, which can charge the phone from zero to 50% in about 30 minutes. The battery life is one of the best features of this phone, as I don't have to worry about running out of juice. The phone has a simple and sleek design with a glastic finish. The phone has an under-display fingerprint sensor that works well and a stereo speaker system that delivers good sound quality. The phone also has NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi Direct, OTG, and other useful features.Overall, I think the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is a great mid-range smartphone that offers awesome features at an affordable price. It has a stunning display, a versatile camera, a powerful performance, a long-lasting battery, and a stylish design. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a reliable and enjoyable smartphone experience.
I'm a massive masdive fan of Samsung from the first time I started using a mobile phone in year 2000. Roll 23years forward, they're still my firm favourite and will always be. I've used all of the series from the S, M and A series, they never fail to amaze me. In all honesty, this has been my favourite so far and I'm just glad I got to take part in it.First of all, hats off to Samsung for delivering a whooper of a so-called budget phone in a high-budget functions. I'm not gonna lie, if my A34 has got the capability of a high end phone, I can only imagine what the Z series are like. You actually have to use this phone to appreciate it and for someone like me who's worked in High tech companies, self confessed tech and mobile guru, I couldn't recommend this phone highly enough. Samsung has set the bar on a budget phone so high, it'll take competitors another decade to match. So far so good, I'm loving my phone and already have 3 family members purchase since me using it. All are in agreement that comparing the functionalities with the price, its an absolute steal and definitely worth investing in if you're looking for the latest and pocket friendly phone. The A34 is the way to go 100% and you'll be glad you did!
Great value, especially where I purchased the phone, with generally good all round features. The biggest niggles I have after 3 weeks of use are...1.) Complaints of a terminally distracting echo from recipients my calls if I'm wearing a wired headset or headphones. It doesn't seem to be a problem if I don't use a head-set, which is the only way I have, so far, found to get around this very irritating problem. I don't have wireless head-sets to experiment with. This is a major niggle or even a deal-breaker if I can't get to the bottom of it, which I have so far failed to do.2.) The other niggle is Samsung bloatware. The duplication of all the major Google apps, with Samsung apps, some of which, like Bixby, can not be deleted, which is very irritating as it is a ... MoreGreat value, especially where I purchased the phone, with generally good all round features. The other niggle is Samsung bloatware. The duplication of all the major Google apps, with Samsung apps, some of which, like Bixby, can not be deleted, which is very irritating as it is a terrible waste of RAM.This is somewhat made up for by the promise of extended future support for Android and security updates.3.) As I sometimes wear hearing aids, the other great disappointment is the lack of support for Bluetooth streaming for streaming capable hearing aids. The ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) protocol has been enabled on Android since version 11.This phone is Android 13, but still Samsung have failed to implement ASHA for compatible hearing aids which is EXTREMELY disappointing. Hopefully all the positives, of which there are many, will outweigh the negatives, especially if I can get to the bottom of the terminally distracting echo the recipients of my calls have to suffer!!!
My review is based as a comparison to my existing Android phone, a phone which although around 6 years old has been brilliant.First thought when the package arrived was, my that's heavy! I assumed the weight would be down to charger and booklet but no, no charger was included. It was the phone. It wasn't much bigger than my previous but weighed so much more. It was going to take some getting used to! I ordered screen protectors and an anti bump case straight away as I knew if it hit the ground, it wouldn't end well being so chunky! I waited till they were on the phone before doing too much, I am clumsy! In the box was a cable but it was a double ended mini USB, utterly useless. I waited till they were on the phone before doing too much, I am clumsy! In the box was a cable but it was a double ended mini USB, utterly useless. The only way I could charge the phone was to plug into my laptop. Everywhere is set up for regular USB, why add a double mini?Once I managed to get it charged (not a quick job from a laptop!) I set the phone up, it was quick and easy to do and important data was transferred from my previous phone. The graphics look great, the colours are bright and crisp. Now to my favourite part of any phone, the camera. The basic functions were easy to use and the resulting photos were crisp and colours popped. There are lots of functions to explore and practice utilising. The security on the phone seems good, multiple ways of protection when locking/unlocking and the new (to me!) software gives the impression that my data is safe.Being a different brand, I had to change how I did things. No more knocking the screen for a quick screenshot (which I still think is a bit of genius!), now I have to press buttons....The organisation of the icons; I hate that I can't put them where I want, they always go to the top of the screen. I used to organise them with gaps in between categories, not possible on this phone sadly. In short there are positives and negatives, most of the negatives are small and could be easily rectified by Samsung.Would I buy it again? A Samsung for the technology? yes 100% but I would shop around for a lighter model, maybe compare to the S series.
