Having purchased this phone,I am very happy with the device and its functionalities. The large 6.7 inch screen is extremely impressive and matches well with the phones more-than-all-day battery life (in my case, may differ on how often you use the phone and what you do on it). The three rear camera sensors creaare also great, with the same being said for the front facing 32MP sensor, which,if used well, can crate near professional-level images. The phone's in-screen optical fingerprint reader I found to work very well also, working every time without fail for me so far at reasonable speed (not quite as fast as some flagship phones on the market with the same kind of sensor, although that is to be expected as this isn't a flagship phone). The phone is also very fast with its 6GB RAM,which is more than enough for the average user, handling multiple apps at once or some more graphically intense games like Fortnite or PUBG Mobile. Also, the base 128GB of storage will be plenty for the majority of users, with the option of adding 512GB extra with a MicroSD,if it is needed. So,to conclude, would I recommend this phone; absolutely. The specs are impressive to say the least, especially with the phones generous price point of ÂŁ369 (as of writing,a ÂŁ60 cashback deal is also available,so you can basically get the phone for ÂŁ309). Also, sorry for probably going on for too long. I wanted to leave a clear,in-depth review to help people that may ant to buy this great device :)

I bought this phone 4 months ago and it has stopped charging. Telstra tell me That the charging port is fine but the battery is not responding. I'm not sure whether the warranty will cover this. And I am left without any confidence in this phone. Any phone that stops working after 4 months with absolutely no damage on it or to it, is poor quality. I am very disappointed with the Samsung Galaxy A70. I have to now pay someone to recover my data on this poor quality phone and hope that Samsung and Telstra sort it out.Not holding my breath!!!!I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and its better for now...Don't waste your money on the A70.Thanks Telstra for nothing except the standard party line "We are not sure we can do anything".

Very happy. Had the phone for a month. Navigating the phone feels slick, the screen looks great, the face recognition is quicker than me drawing a pattern. Much to like about the phone. The battery is fantastic also - looking at the battery usage screen it says 45 hours since last charge which includes 3 hours of YouTube, 10 hours of Bluetoothing music, plus the usual texts and calls. Still reckons another 11 hours left. Nice to know without trying I can get 2 days on one charge. The large phone size isn't too bad either. I was almost not going to buy the phone because of it's size but I've quite grown to liking the large screen. Some small changes in the interface has helped make one handed operating feasible.

Pros:1.Outstanding display, crisp, bright and vivid: jaw dropping .2.Excellent battery life, around 7.5+ hrs of Screen-on-time incl. 30 mins of intensive gaming.3.Great cameras, especially both 32MP sensors are extremely potent, great dynamic range, adequate details , colour reproduction mostly is top-notch.4.Sound output through both 3.5mm jack and the main speaker is great, no complaints.5. I,for one, loved this OneUI, packs essential customizations in minimalistic manner.6.Listen nobody, SD675 chip mated to 6gb Ddr4 and UFS is extremely capable, the phone smoothly runs any game you throw at it, and day to day jobs are like a breeeze.Cons:1.No glass back does a serious damage to the overall desirability quotient of the phone.2.The camera tends to ... But a Gcam mod serves as an easy fix, the upcoming updates might fix it.3.No night mode, and no shutter speed, no manual focus controls in Pro mode! Seems like Samsung deliberately wants us to diffrenitate between it's A series and the flagships.Bonus:1.This UI is surprisingly quick yet smart, very thoughtfully designed, that bixby vision is icing on the cake! Neither OxygenOs, nor stock andoid/MIUI..anything can't inch closer to this, take me seriously, this one is perfect blend of speed and customisations, most UIs omit either of two.2.There is EIS suport till 1080p 60fps and it works superbly. No stability complaints untill you are shooting at 4k.Video quality is phenomenal with fast focal and exposure adjustments.3.Super slomos, AR emojis , and wide angle lens make the camera worth playing with! Conclusion:A rare high end smartphone with great display, battery and camera: The only All-Rounder under 30k.Rivals:One Plus 6T/7 may be lucrative, but you can never deny the importance of a larger and better display and camera, and that Samsung tag!P.S. SD854/855 is an overkill, most of the users never juice out their capabilities, on the other side display and battery are exhausted daily to their limits. A70 is a wise decision for sure.
My wife bought this phone for me as a present on last December. up until march of this year it worked fine but then there was an issue with the charging. I sent the phone to a repair centre via JB hifi store in Wantirna south. I was given the phone back after repair but the same problem occurs now and then. meanwhile my phone was little out of shape(slightly bent) after I received it from first repair. and now they claiming that the not charging issue is caused by this abnormal shape and its customer faulty. they need me to pay to replace parts for under warranty phone for a problem that they couldn't fix first time. so gave up the idea of repairing the phone. and phone is some times charging and some times not. and life goes on. so my personal advice is not to buy ... Phone arrived in "like new" condition. I owned a Samsung A70 previously, and really wanted to stay with the same model. Excellent delivery time - arrived in 3 business days. I really like that it includes a 1 year warranty, just like a new phone would. Will buy from here again. Price is great, and better than Amazon!
This phone is a beast and I highly recommend it.. today I got my present booking head phone of Samsung u flex which is awesome... though it is a beast I do have some comlpain about phone.. I request the Samsung to fix it up in the next update.. it's artificial low light camera isn't that good and the most important thing is its fingerprint on display which is not accurate and doesn't work properly. And its face I'd even if you close your eyes it work. So Samsung need to fix all these in the next update l. Last but not the least its superslow mo is to less. Only 3sec should have given some more minute at least for 2 or 3min. Its useless bro do superslow.. can't record any good thing with such least time. So I request the Samsung team please concern my word and check ... I have used A70 for couple of weeks and i love it! I've used lots of samsungs phones including note edge,s2,s4,wave...also used lots of other android phones (oneplus 3,huawei etc.) For me after my iphoneSE broke down and i had to use my spare android phone for a time,it was time to upgrade a phone. I was between ip8 and a70 for a good time, but i decided to go with the less expensive choice and it was correct choice for my usage. OneUI is so goodly optimized it just works like a charm, camera's are great (not perfect but usable for most situations the lack of OIS,EIS is a minus, but still can be used to get really nice pictures),fingerprint sensor is laggy and cannot remember more than 3 prints which is a definetelly a minus! Samsungs own keyboard is really good too and i find it more likeable than gboard (kinda same both but i dont know is it just me but i misstype less with samsungs own keyboard.) The Screen is a big boy and it being tall rather than wide it makes onehand usage more pleasant. Writing with one hand is impossible but there is a onehand mode if really need to use it onehanded. For a huge movie/video content/tv series consumer i find it really nice to have a big screen to watch shows and other stuff on a bigger screen. For this price i am shocked how good screen they have inserted on this phone. Picture quality is so much better than any other devices from same pricerange i have used. Screen brightness is really good and adjustable for any situations. from this screen i see things out in the sunlight which is a huge plus too. Also there is a blue light filter and a night mode. there is so much settings that can be done for optimizing viewing experience for every situation that i wont going to list all of them here. Battery lasts really long and with power saving settings you can make it last for days! For my usage i charge the phone when i sleep and end of the day i still have around 15 to 25% battery left and i dont even use power savings usually. I only use it when im on a long trip or in an area that i cannot charge my device. I watch around 3 hours of videos/movies daily and other content like facebook, instagram, whatsapp, snapchat, some web pages. and my screen brightness is often quite high. For me 16hrs without power saving on is really good and 25w charger fills it up really fast. On the outside, there isnt much...this gasoline mixed in water looking back isnt anything stunning..its a big phone with a huge screen not much else. I highly recommend buying a cover because the back panel is really slippery being plastic and all. Also volume contol buttons and lock button is really clicky with good switches so they are nice to use. (not like usually those buttons feel like pressing you finger in a water Its not perfect, but those flaws are minor and overall experience is much better than ever before. Androids gesture controls etc. makes it fun and easy to use. I highly recommend this device to all who wants a premium phone for a really low price
I have been using this phone for a week and I can safely say,I haven't regretted spending my money on it. It's 100% worth the price and its specs are sufficient for a more than average user. Everything about this phone seems to surprise me; the screen, the ergonomics, the battery, the speed and the camera. I love the edge to edge screen and it is bright and bold and the in-display fingerprint scanner is awesome. Although the phone is made from plastic, you can hardly tell due to the quality of the materials. It feels like glass and the sides are smooth and don't feel cheap. The 4,000mAh battery is it's stand out feature. It can easily get through a whole days worth of extensive use and I am incredibly pleased with it. The specs as well are sufficient, whilst they may not be the best, they can handle all tasks perfectly well including gaming. Last but not least the camera is great. Images come out sharp and Live Focus makes images look amazing. On top of that, the ultra wide camera is the best and most useful feature. You never know you need one until you try it out. Using it so much than I thought I would and it makes images so much better. I love my A70 and I can't wait to see what Samsung has to offer next year :)
