Sadly I am here because my old Samsung phone went swiming with the Sharks. I loved my A52, but I love the A73 more. With the A73 I have actually seen internet download speeds of 320mbs on the mobile phone network! The sound of both calls and music are outstanding and the screen is just amazing. I do a lot of video and photos and again the results are outstanding. Why do you need 108 megapixel photos? Because when you enlarge a section of a photo, it stays sharp. Night photography is also outstanding for a phone. Moonlit shots are sharp and a little spooky (because that is what you want them to be) And finally it feels just like my dearly departed A52 which was luckily backed up.

Have only had this phone for around 3 weeks but so far I'm absolutely loving the Samsung Galaxy A73 5g. It does everything it says it does and does it really well. Setting up your fingerprint can be a little time consuming but once it's done it's completely worth it! The fingerprint sensor on this model is really responsive, unlike previous models where you would have to try multiple times to get it to read your fingerprint correctly. So far, this has done it first time every time. The camera Fantastic! I've only tried the basics so far but they've worked to perfection. I'm really looking forward to trying the more advanced features like night mode, macro, slow motion and hyperlapse. All in all this has been great value for money so far!

She suggested I use a free online Converter, however, when I got home the free converter was only free for 50 songs. Samsung Doncaster Staff: All staff I had dealings with were very professional and kind. They are a very good team and I was happy to purchase my phone there CONCLUSION I strongly recommend the following: A. That Samsung relaunch it’s Samsung Music App to support WMA songs B. If possible, could an update of Samsung Music be offered so that others with songs in WMA use the app C. Please get Lloyd to outline his solution to the WMA issue and send it to all Samsung Stores so that staff know how to handle questions about this issue? D. I strongly urge Samsung design their phones with an earphone socket as many have purchased expensive headphones E. Please pass on my extreme satisfaction with Lloyd, Michael, Wade and Lucy to their managers, they are each excellent in their roles

Good Value for Money

This phone comes jam-packed with some pretty nifty features; gorgeous screen, Dolby ATMOS, excellent cameras, and I also quite like the Mint Green colour option. My only gripe is that the "RAM" is virtual, which means it relies on storage space to reach the full 6GB. This isn't enough imo, considering the bloatware alone uses about 2-3GB continuously, there's a reserve of 800MB, and apps running in the background need to be forced to stop otherwise you have a sluggish nightmare in your hands. From what I've been told, virtual ram is a killer and so I'm glad this phone has a 2 year warranty otherwise that could be severely problematic. Other than those two issues, this phone gives you bang for your buck! I recommend it as long as you will be strictly using it for general use (not ideal for gaming or heavy app usage imo).

Overpriced garbage
5 February 2023

I've had this phone for about 8 months. I thought I was upgrading from my Oppo Reno z after reading the stats and reviews. Boy, was I wrong. Ignoring the fact that you have to pay extra for a charger etc. This has to be the dumbest smart phone I've owned. I will list the cons below so those looking to buy can make informed decisions. 1. The face recognition works about 30% of the time 2. Bluetooth connectivity is extremely slow and often requires manual selection. It rarely connects to what it was previously connected to. After a short stop in the car I have to spend a few minutes after I've started it again to get my phone connected. 3. The camera is garbage for the amount of pixels. I'd go as far as saying it is the worst phone camera I've used. 4. The screen ... MoreI've had this phone for about 8 months. Need to turn brightness all the way up when outside and even then I often still feel like I'm having to step inside to read what's on the screen 6. Auto rotation is slow, I find myself having to shake the phone to get it to rotate the screen. 7. Vibrate mode is mostly silent and rarely vibrates. I'm constantly missing calls when it's on vibrate mode. In conclusion, this phone has a lot of faults that make it impossible to enjoy and I'm really annoyed that I have spent this much money on absolute garbage.

I bought this phone about 3 months ago due to the excellent reviews I'd read online, but it has not lived up to the standard I expected. I had an Oppo Reno Z prior to this and genuinely thought I was upgrading by getting this phone, but the features are nowhere near as good as the Oppo. For instance, when I zoom in while recording, the video doesn't zoom gradually and the sound cuts out while it's zooming. The maximum time option for leaving my screen on is 10 minutes (so the screen turns off while I'm listening to music - which means while driving, my passengers can't change song unless I unlock the phone for them). The keyboard layout sucks, it's not easy to access emojis. The camera often struggles to focus. I know it's a mid-range phone, but considering my last phone was cheaper and didn't have these issues, I'm not sure why I bothered spending more.

Not worth the price. 1) The battery drains really fast and does not even last a complete day with a full charge (Even with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, hotspot all turned off). 2) Cannot use dual sim (it's either a second sim or external memory card. cannot use both at the same time).3) No headphone jack, no adapter,4) Camera quality is just normal and nothing exceptional. For this price tag you expect better quality but Samsung does not deliver.5) The phone is too long and its extremely difficult to swipe or click somthing even in the middle with your thumb. Cannot keep it properly in the pocket of shorts especially while driving a bike.Overall I think the negatives are more than anything positive on this phone. It's not worth the price. I have had the A73 5g for several months now and have been very impressed. The price point was excellent, the set up from an S9 seamless and the interface intuitive. I need a phone for the outback right through to high density apartment living. This phone has risen to the occasion like none before. A blue tick from Telstra covers remote needs and 5g downloads seasons of binging in minutes. 128gig more than handles all that data plus hooking up to Chrome cast and smart TV'S is a cinch. Put it in power save mode and restrict charge to 85% and the battery lasts for days. A mid range phone for a fairly savvy 60's something user doesn't get much better.

Terrible product - keep looking elsewhere

Keep looking elsewhere. I believed the good reviews - terribly disappointed. Not worth the price. 1) No headphone jack. The USB-C to Audio adaptors don't work, so you'll have to buy crappy USB-c headphones, or blu-tooth. Being able to use headphones is a basic standard setting - yet is a massive fail on this phone. 2) Camera quality is only normal & nothing exceptional (same as my old oppo). For this price tag you expect better quality but Samsung does not deliver. 2) The battery drains really fast & does not even last a complete day (Even with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, hotspot, apps turned off). 2) Cannot use dual sim (it's either a second sim or external memory card. cannot use both at the same time). 5) The phone is too big, sits awkward in your hand, & its extremely difficult to swipe or click somthing even in the middle with your thumb. Cannot keep it properly in the pocket of shorts especially while driving a bike. Overall the negatives outweigh positives on this phone. I regret buying it & would not recommend anyone to buy it.
