I have the Samsung S23 Ultra. It is an awesome phone. The very best I have had. And I have had a high end iPhone. I love the fact that even in Sunny Texas, i can still see the screen outside, without any issues. And the battery life is truly amazing. I have all day battery with no need to charge the phone. I have had it long enough to see the things that normally wear down and yet I have had no loss of performance or battery life. Everything is easy to use and the so called lagging from lesser android phones have not happened to me at all. Even when scrolling, it is all smooth. Playing games like Call of Duty Mobile is flawless, no buffering or skipping, I am able to play very competitively with this phone. First off, let me just say I'm extremely grateful to have a working phone and a new one at that! Verizon was super helpful with replacing my broken phone. And there was a deal going on, so it was only an extra $5 per month for my new phone! Yay! Compared to my S9, the 21 just does not feel like a premium product.I'm also very unhappy that there's no headphone jack, I'm a musician so I have good wired headphones - I'm not going to buy inferior Bluetooth replacements. The UI seems to lag quite frequently especially when you first start up the phone and I don't just been when you wake it up after shutting it down. I mean waking it from standby. Exiting apps is extremely and concerningly choppy at times but most of the time, the UI does remain smooth. It drops to 60hz more than I would like so performance is very underwhelming. The battery life has been nothing special but good enough that I can kill it in a day but most of the time, it will last about 4-5 hours of screen on time. The cameras have been extremely good for me (including video) but I would have preferred a slightly better night mode quality but it is better than what you pay for. To my delightful surprise though, this device turned out to be much more than I could have imagined in terms of overall navigation and ease of use. Having had an S8 in the past then went to an A31 for the last few years the S21 FE 5G was a huge improvement. Only one thing lets it down is the battery, and this is similar for most of the S range. Battery life is far superior on the A series.What has surprised me the most is the quality of the camera! Chose the S21 over the S22 for the slightly higher capacity battery even though the camera specs were much better on the S22, on paper at least! We use my phone for filming video reviews and this is a huge improvement both in resolution, colour and even sound. Our wireless lapel mics connect to the camera without having to use a third party app as we had to on the A31, and the sound is clear and has no interference that we experienced on the previous phone. Chose the S21 over the S22 for the slightly higher capacity battery even though the camera specs were much better on the S22, on paper at least! We use my phone for filming video reviews and this is a huge improvement both in resolution, colour and even sound. Our wireless lapel mics connect to the camera without having to use a third party app as we had to on the A31, and the sound is clear and has no interference that we experienced on the previous phone. And the big winner is low light photography, absolutely stunning and crystal clear! And then there is the 30x zoom. For the first time ever I have been able to take a clear photo of a full moon instead of it turning out as a white blurry blob! Can even see the craters.More than happy with this phone.
