First impressions of the phone when unboxing, it feels like a quality product with a decent weight and feel without seeming to be too heavy. As soon as you turn it on it's clear that the screen on this is great. Having used it for more than a week now, the quality of the screen makes a huge difference when using this phone and is better than any other I've used so far. Inside or outside there's never any issue of being able to see the screen clearly.Set up from my old phone was very fast and easy, hardly had to do anything other than open up my old phone and set the link, everything I needed was ready to go very soon. The phone itself is fast and very responsive, a very smooth experience whether texting but also gaming something like COD is a very nice experience. ... MoreFirst impressions of the phone when unboxing, it feels like a quality product with a decent weight and feel without seeming to be too heavy. The phone itself is fast and very responsive, a very smooth experience whether texting but also gaming something like COD is a very nice experience. The new AI features have been very cool to use, and work very well. Day to day the ones I find most useful are the ones to recommend tones for your text messages depending on the scenario, and the summary of reading a website and getting a snapshot of the key info, have been so useful to use. The others could be useful for specific use cases but not ones I've needed so far, random tests have shown they've worked as expected.Battery life has been way beyond expectations, I have needed to charge it once every two days so far and always confident it will last me all day so I haven't needed to travel with my battery pack anymore. Also, with a suitable charger it gets to 100% very quickly, or if I need a top out before heading out on short notice I've been able to in only 10 minutes or so.Camera is great, has also been great in the past so nothing else really to say beyond that. I do wish however, that long pressing the power button let you turn it off rather than Bixby without needing to change settings, I've never really been a fan of Bixby compared to other options. Also a shame there is no sd card slot again, although there hasn't been one in other models previously either. For a phone with a great camera and ability to edit and save different versions this would make a difference in both taking and maintaining edited versions of photos all on the phone with confidence of never running out of space.Overall I absolutely would recommend this phone.

After reading extensive reviews and due to Black Friday Deals available on the Samsung website, I’ve decided to purchase the new Samsung Galaxy S24 at the end of November.I thought it would be a great upgrade to my current Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus. Even though it’s been only a couple of weeks and since the start I’ve been extremely disappointed with a lot smaller size of the new S24’s screen. I regret not going for the S24 plus or ultra version, however at the time of purchase it was unfortunately out of stock. I’m a loyal Samsung customer and I’ve been always going for Galaxy S phones which I was extremely satisfied with to date. After some days of getting used to the new S24, I must compliment on fantastic files transfer option available between Samsung devices. ... MoreAfter reading extensive reviews and due to Black Friday Deals available on the Samsung website, I’ve decided to purchase the new Samsung Galaxy S24 at the end of November.I thought it would be a great upgrade to my current Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus. I’m a loyal Samsung customer and I’ve been always going for Galaxy S phones which I was extremely satisfied with to date. After some days of getting used to the new S24, I must compliment on fantastic files transfer option available between Samsung devices. It’s been at least 3 years since my last phone upgrade and I found scanning the QR code extremely useful! Within 3-4 hours, I had the whole content moved across, including files, photos, videos, and apps (and I was at 90% of the used space on my old S21 plus!)In the first few days of exploring S24 I didn’t think much to it, to be fair I thought the new phone doesn’t really have any massively improved features, however by now I’m impressed by its performance – the battery lasts up to 2 days comparing to my old S21 plus which had to be charged a least twice a day! Also, the quality of camera is a lot better overall – especially the night mode. However, I’m not impressed with the vividness of the colours on S24’s display nor photos and videos. I’ve been reading a lot and trying to change the settings of my screen’s brightness, but I must say that I prefer more vivid display colours on my old S21 plus! In my opinion, the front camera was also a lot better on my old device, S24’s camera quality which is brilliant of course but for me the photos come up very dull and almost grey, unless I’m doing something wrong?I’m still exploring the AI feature on my new S24, and I’m impressed with the translation option as I speak a few languages myself so both the verbal as well as written live translations are extremely useful.Although I still find it difficult to get used to a lot smaller screen size, I think I won’t keep this phone for long and I’ll soon have to upgrade to the S24 plus version as I struggle (after being used to a lot bigger screen for so long) especially watching videos and during video calls or working on Microsoft apps.Overall, I think it will be 3 out of 5 stars for me, after 2 weeks I’m disappointed with S24 but it is probably my fault for trying to go for the basic option of the Galaxy S device this time round. I usually go for the plus or ultra options available from Samsung and I think I believed other reviews when picking this phone.

I have used the S24+ for over 2 weeks now, overall it meets me expectation, the exynos performance is more than capable. Before purchase I was left with disappointment with the return of exynos chipset on the S24 and S24+, after using for couple of weeks I am happy with the performance so far.Unboxing of the new S24+ just like other flagship you get nowadays, some paperwork and a USB type C to C cable and sim card ejection tools. It is a shame that now they do not comes with charger as I had to purchase a charger for it as my previous phone it only support up to 23W charging and with a 30W charger. S24+ support 45W charging so purchased a new charger to take full advantage of the charging speed. On the charging subject, I have had issue with the adaptive charging, as it will not hold the charge at 80% and top up to 100% at the final hour, instead it was fully charge immediately, but I was able to work around it by setting routine. It is slightly disappointing that after 2 weeks the adaptive charging still do not learn my pattern even I pick up the phone every morning around the same time.Performance is the reason I purchased the new phone, the Exynos 2400 is more than capable when compare to Snapdragon 8 gen 2. Playing on Genshin impact and other high demand resource hungry game, it performs well with little frame drop, temperature do heat up to around 40 degree. Its winter at the moment so will be interesting to see how it will hold up during the summer. However i do experience shutter lag when switching between game and apps. improvement required.Camera is fast and picture quality is good with good light, low light photo have more noise but it is more than capable for most user. AI slow motion is very good feature when you shot a video and wanted it in slow motion, as you want to capture the moment and without the need to change it a different mode.Circle to search function is underrated, it is the most used feature since I own the phone, it's simple and way more convenient than google lens, as it allow you to search the screen you are looking at now. This is a very good phone, with the exynos 2400 so far seems a good chipset. I would recommend anyone who wants a phone that's capable of doing anything you name

The Note assist feature has been a life saver for last minute work drafts.Personal use gets a bit heavier and I’ve found the phone to have little to no down time whilst using and never suffers performance wise from typical day to day use and more intensive multi tasking. Although not the heaviest of users there has been some jumping in and out of media to games, back to work all without fail or lag.My battery has continued to exceed a day after the initial first few days of learning and optimising to my usage. First few days was rough though. But I am finding that I have no fear to use my phone intensively from day start to end as the battery typically carries through the night with around 15-20% remaining. The S24, albeit the entry model, has a camera that is more than suffice to capture great detailed in the moment shots with some simple editing features to notch the result up a bit too, although I feel for a flagship phone it could be a smidge better at this price range. Removal of unwanted objects etc in photos was a really nice touch and up there with the competition offering similar, all without need to know how to edit proficiently.I was apprehensive about moving back into the android space after being warped by another manufacturer for so long. Still adjusting but Samsung switch made this easy also. The integration to my tablet was something I had hoped for but through my excitement forgot... until, I received a phone call to it from my phone. This was done I assume through WiFi and my Samsung account. But genuinely seamless, so much so I hadn't noticed it had happened. I would be interested to see how this synchronisation carries through the full range, i.e. laptops to enhance my digital life.Great device, reasonably priced but as always with tech there is desirables.(Made an unboxing but file size does not permit)
Upon receipt of my new Samsung S24 Ultra I was impressed. First of all, the packaging was very impressive. Environmentally friendly, no excessive materials used, simply a box that contains the phone and a charging cable.First impressions upon unboxing were definitely ‘wow, I love the screen, the feel and the shape of this!’.Set up was super simple, had the option to move over my information and apps from any other device but I chose ti set it up brand new!I began testing the camera and was very impressed with the zoom capabilities, the settings and options for the camera itself, the ability to alter the appearance and much more. I then discovered the stylus pen and enjoyed scribbling about whilst getting to know the device. Very good weight, well built mobile phone, you know you’re holding something great in your hand from the offset.I explored all the features and was a big fan of the AI capabilities which Samsung talks about. It felt fun trialing capabilities and pushing the device to its limits through active running of variety of apps simultaneously. I was very impressed, I did not feel any overheating and I did not see any slowing down of the system despite having a game, YouTube, messages etc all running in background.Although I love the device I did think about the shape being quite square so personally I’d have preferred slightly rounder edges but this doesn’t affect my decision to buy. I was very happy with the system and speed of the device. The audio is great, watching a movie and listen to music were very pleasant experiences, with very clear voice audio but also great bass.I did not experience any lags, switching between apps was quick and easy.If I could improve anything it would probably be simply that Samsung include a charging plug with the order because it isn’t always convenient finding alternatives and it would make life easier if it was included. From beginning to end, my experience with this device has been amazing. I can’t quite comprehend how it happened but I fell in love with the Samsung system, ease of operations, solid build, attention to detail and uniqueness of it. The Samsung has gained a super place in my life and I’ve been absolutely loving using it everyday for various reasons, not sure I could go back to anything else I’ve ever know when this seems unbeatable!
This is Samsung's first foray into the AI space after another well-known mobile device manufacturer has been creating AI-powered CPUs for their phones for a few years now. I have one of those phones so will be comparing the latest Samsung flagship to this.Visually, the Galaxy S24 packs a punch in a compact form. It's a beautiful combination of flat glass screen (gone are the curved edges of older Galaxy series phones which have always been a frustration rather than a feature) and dark brushed aluminium wrapped around the sides (on the black version). The phone’s sleek design includes minimal bezels around the screen which maximises screen real estate whilst keeping the whole package as nice and small as possible. The phone’s sleek design includes minimal bezels around the screen which maximises screen real estate whilst keeping the whole package as nice and small as possible. In an age of ever-expanding and unwieldy phone sizes, the S24 presents as a very conveniently sized package without compromise. As with all Samsung phones, you know it has a fantastic Screen - the sharp and vivid display on the S24 enhances your viewing experience - whether you’re streaming, browsing, or gaming, the vibrant screen won’t disappoint. The S24 boasts all-new Galaxy AI and Google circle-to-search tools. Whether you’re curious about a web page, a YouTube video, or a photo you just took, the Circle to Search feature answers your queries effortlessly. Plus, the AI translation works like magic, bridging language barriers when travelling which is extremely helpful for me as I frequently travel for work!Something that has been becoming more of an important feature on phones these days is the ability to quick charge (especially for me in an airport). The S24’s fast charging supports up to 45W fast chargers which will fully charge the phone in approximately an hour. While the cameras might not outshine some competitors, the S24 offers more zoom features than most and a variety of shooting modes to enhance your photos including AI enhancements. With a promise of seven years of Android updates, this could be Samsung’s best affordable Galaxy S phone yet in the long-term when other phones are only being supported for a few years after which they seem to mysteriously slow down!In summary, the Galaxy S24 is a pocket powerhouse that balances performance, style, and practicality. 📱✨
The Galaxy S24 is, for me, an upgrade from the Galaxy S22. It has the familiarity and ease-of-use of previous Galaxy phones but has improved and added features that give me the excitement of a new phone. The packaging is minimal, yet sturdy. Contents consist of the phone, a USB C cable, a SIM tool and a quick-start guide. There is no plug, but having owned several Galaxy phones, I had no need for another one.I chose the S24 over the S24+ due to the size and I am not disappointed. The phone has a premium feel, with an aluminium frame, and I like the Sapphire Blue back that I chose, which is only available when ordering from Samsung direct. The S24 has an increased battery size and a 6.2 inch screen but the phone still feels light and easy to hold and work with a ... MoreThe Galaxy S24 is, for me, an upgrade from the Galaxy S22. The phone has a premium feel, with an aluminium frame, and I like the Sapphire Blue back that I chose, which is only available when ordering from Samsung direct. The S24 has an increased battery size and a 6.2 inch screen but the phone still feels light and easy to hold and work with a single hand. The screen is extremely clear and bright, with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.Two things worth mentioning, although neither are an issue for me, are that there is no expandable memory (for my use, the 256 GB should be ample) and there is no headphone socket. It was easy for me to set up the S24 and transfer data from the old phone automatically. This included transferring the apps across, although for security everything needs to be set up with existing passwords before the Fingerprint ID for different apps can be used. One of my favourite new features of the S24 is the AI Circle to Search Feature, which allows you to find out information on whatever is on your screen (whether, photo, video or text) by drawing a circle around the relevant image/text with your finger.I’m still getting used to the cameras on the S24 but the photos I have taken to date have been crisp and bright and the colours in the images are true to life. I like using the object eraser and the background blur features to personalise and improve photos.I have a Galaxy Watch 4 and it was easy to pair this watch with the S24 and I am enjoying using the Health features and tracking my sleep, particularly as I live with a couple of chronic conditions.Although I have only had the phone 10 days, it already feels like my best friend and, two years since I bought my previous Samsung Galaxy, it feels like technology has grown and improved so much in that time.
In my recent transition from the Samsung Galaxy S23+ to the S24+, I was primarily motivated by updating my phone rather than the expectation of significant differences between the two devices. While attempting to utilize the Smart Share feature, I encountered technical difficulties that resulted in freezing issues. As a workaround, I opted to establish a wired connection instead. It is worth noting that I had previously experienced similar challenges during my upgrade to the S23+.Initially, the battery life of the S24+ was a concern, as it required recharging during the day. However, this issue appears to have stabilized over time, and the battery now provides sufficient power to last an entire day without the need for additional charging. In terms of physical ... MoreIn my recent transition from the Samsung Galaxy S23+ to the S24+, I was primarily motivated by updating my phone rather than the expectation of significant differences between the two devices. While attempting to utilize the Smart Share feature, I encountered technical difficulties that resulted in freezing issues. However, this issue appears to have stabilized over time, and the battery now provides sufficient power to last an entire day without the need for additional charging. In terms of physical attributes, the S24+ is marginally longer compared to its predecessor, necessitating the purchase of a new protective case. One particularly impressive aspect of this device is its photo editing capabilities. These features have proven invaluable in a recent project involving the enhancement of old photographs, the removal of reflections from new images, and the overall improvement of visual quality.Furthermore, there have been noticeable improvements in the graphics rendering for gaming applications, accompanied by a reduction in lag.Additionally, the S24+ offers a convenient text editing feature that leverages artificial intelligence. By selecting text, users are presented with a range of suggested improvements, eliminating the need for downloading separate applications for similar purposes. All other aspects are quite similar, and it will likely require some time for me to fully comprehend all of the enhancements.
