I am actually reviewing the A9+ by #Samsung but since the product wasn't in the catalog I am reviewing it here. I am already partial toward Samsung Electronics because I am able to connect and cast effortlessly between my phones/TVs/tablets and computer. This was a huge upgrade for me since I haven't treated myself to a new tablet since my old Galaxy Tab S2 which was at least 6 years old and still going strong except for a difficulty charging. The A9+ is a superior machine with crystal clear graphics and sound quality for the price. 256GB, quad speaks and 10.9 inch screen brings a quality viewing experience anywhere you are

Hard to describe how much I dislike this tablet. I was convinced to trade my wonderful SM-T580 10.1" Tab A6 (2016) for this. Got a great deal until you factoring ALL the downgraded qualities of this vs. my A6. For whatever reason I have found it impossible to get files to save to the micro SD card, so I get constant reminders that my memory (onboard) is nearly full. And the worst thing by far is the battery life. I have to charge it every day if I used it for an hour or hour and a half. I've reached out to Samsung on it and they point you to the users forum where you can reach how great Samsung products are but get NO help. Oh, how I wish I had not made this trade. My old tablet had half the onboard memory with no problems and gave 3-4 days of battery life. I have ... MoreHard to describe how much I dislike this tablet. I thought I had balanced my expectations of this device, but was left seriously disappointed. OK so this is a budget device and I got it significantly below the standard list price due to my student discount and even at that price I was disappointed. If I'd paid full price for this tablet without a doubt it would have been sent back.I needed a basic tablet to do emails, a bit of web browsing and some reading. For those functions provided you are willing to put up with the sluggish performance it's just about OK. If you buy this tablet expect to wait a few seconds for apps to load, expect to wait several seconds when you click into a text field for the keyboard to jerk slowly into view, don't expect to multi-task or run anything but basic applications.I didn't ... I certainly didn't expect that it would not even be capable of implementing basic expectations of the operating system. On a number of occassions I've tried using the search feature within settings, on every occassion I've been left with a spinning circle for several minutes whilst the tablet attempts futilely to perform a simple search. Every time I've had to give up and use Google to find out where the setting I need is instead.I'll put up with this tablet for now until budget allows for an upgrade, but unless you are on a limited budget I would stronly recommend spending a little bit more for a more capable device.

Every year for the past 5 years I have purchased myself, my father and my mother the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab A model tablet as they are competitively priced and great quality devices. Samsung have always been a brand I have put my trust in. This year like usual I purchased three Samsung Galaxy Tab A7's for us all for Christmas. I wrapped my mother's and father's up for Christmas day and decided to open mine last night. I've never been so disappointed opening and using a Samsung product in my life. The screen is absolutely appalling on this model. It reminds me of the very first Amazon Kindle 7" tablets. The screen is absolutely appalling on this model. It reminds me of the very first Amazon Kindle 7" tablets. The brightness is rediculously weak, the viewing angles are rubbish and there's this really weird prominent blue tinge to the colour that you get with really inferior poor quality panels. Unless you are right Infront of the screen you might as well not bother. Can't really tell you about the performance as all three of these will be going straight back to where I bought them from and I think it's time that I started looking at other tablets from other manufacturers now.The one thing on a tablet that should stand out is the screen. After all, this is going to be what you're going to be looking at all day over so if the screens rubbish you might aswell be holding a brick. Can't comment on performance as I couldn't be bothered using it with such a poor display. Compared it to my previous generation 2019 Tab A and I would say the display on the previous generation is twice as good as this.I've been a loyal Samsung customer now for many years but it seems as though Samsung have given up caring about its customers needs and instead would rather take shortcuts and use cheap low quality panels in their Tab A range to keep costs down. I've had a look online and there is so much competition now in this price bracket that I think it's time I went with a brand that doesn't cut corners like this.So disappointed in Samsung that they think they can get away with producing such a shoddy machine. Please DO NOT BUY This model, the screen is absolute garbage!
No Stars!!!! I only buy Samsung. Best Buy's Samsung tablets were out of stock. So, I tried Walmart. NEVER AGAIN. My main problem is with Walmart and the seller! False advertisement! The tablet is a Christmas present for my 74 year old mother. Nothing fancy, just something big enough. So she can google stuff and play a couple games on. I bought an open box tablet, and received a refurbished tablet! The tablet was shipped, in bubble wrap in a brown box!!! There isn't any original packaging!!There's a chip on the corner. They pry'd it open. They cleared and reset tablet back to factory settings. Some how leaving the music folder. Full of songs I'd never listen to. There is already a screen protector on it. You would think it's new. I had to start and set it up like it ... MoreNo Stars!!!! I only buy Samsung. Best Buy's Samsung tablets were out of stock. So, I tried Walmart. NEVER AGAIN. Very handy and lightweight tablet. I use it to watch some movies while I travel (but it doesn't have a HD screen), open emails, and maybe a simple game (nothing to heavy). The speed is not the best either so I try not to overload it with useless information or apps, but as I say bwfore: the tablet do what is was meant to do. For a hevier usage I definitely recommend a better tablet, a PC or just a better phone.By the way, the fact that includes full charger and the screen protector is great! Plus, if you need extra storage you can also adapt a Micro SD card (not included).
I purchased this to replace my Samsung Tab A 10.5 (2018), which died after about 4 years of use. I primarily use my tablet to exercise or watch movies on flights, sometimes to read. Overall I am a very light tablet user. Compared to the 2018 version, this model is much slower, feels clunkier, and the battery drains really quickly. I turn my tablet off while not using it - the A7 Lite takes an incredibly long time to turn on. It takes minutes to get to the home screen, and then once at the home screen I need to wait a few more minutes for the UI to load. If I tried to use the tablet too quickly (even though it's on), it will repeatedly freeze and I get an error that the UI program has stopped working, which means I have to restart the tablet. The tablet is fully updated and I have never had that happen on the 10.5 - now it happens literally every time I turn the tablet on. I would just keep it on, but the battery drains like crazy. If I watch about 4 hours of videos on it throughout the week, it will die if I don't turn it off in between. I have all of the optional background processes turned off. Even with the larger screen at at 4 years old, my old tablet wasn't burning through the battery this fast. Honestly, I am disappointed in this tablet. It's not the worst, but it's much lower quality than my previous tablet, even though I thought it was basically a 1:1 replacement with a newer model. I would not have even replaced my old tablet if I knew just how clunky this one was.
Compared to a smart phone it's bigger, has better sound quality, and doesn't do as much. This is my first tablet so I'm still exploring what it can and can't do. My current goal is to see if it can replace my old, rather large laptop that I use to find dive boats, restaurants, etc while on scuba diving trips, plus I also use it to copy my underwater videos and download my logs from my dive computer. At first the file manager that comes with the Galaxy tablet seemed too basic so I tried a couple of others, but they turned out to be very complicated to use. Once I understood how the built-in file manager works it is very simple and does the job easily. At first the file manager that comes with the Galaxy tablet seemed too basic so I tried a couple of others, but they turned out to be very complicated to use. Once I understood how the built-in file manager works it is very simple and does the job easily. One of the dive log programs I use is available as an app so now I just need to figure out how to synchronize the logs from two devices. This particular program (SubSurface) won't download the logs from my Mares computer but works fine for my old Aladin Pros along with the Data Mouse. I recently bought a GoPro Hero8 and had a lot of trouble finding anything that would play the videos but the Samsung Galaxy tablet does so just fine. I can connect my SJ7000 Action Camera using a "OTG" Micro USB adapter and transfer the files to the SD card. It will also connect and download the files using the FinalCam app via WiFi but then I have to go search for where it put my videos. There is also a WiFi app for the GoPro but so far I don't like it because it connects and turns on the camera when I don't expect it and you can end up with a dead camera battery. The screen size on the Samsung 8.0 is decent for watching movies and Netflix plays nicely on this tablet and the sound quality is very good. My wireless earbuds work great with it so two people can listen and watch a previously-downloaded movie while on an airliner. My old laptop doesn't have bluetooth so I had to use plug-in earphones and the battery would barely last for one movie, if that. This particular model of the Samsung tablet is called a "Kid's Edition" but I'm not sure why. It has a Kid's button but the apps appear to require a subscription. Personally, I had some difficulties learning how to use the tablet for my needs so I don't understand how kids could use it easily, but I see them with tablets on airliners and they don't seem to need any help. I suppose if you grow up with the technology.... Other than the "Samsung Kids" button I don't see anything that isn't what I'd expect from a full-featured device. I suppose an app such as Skype would work for video calls, but WhattsApp requires a phone number, if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure yet how the other video call apps work, I just know it's a problem whenever I have a doctor appointment these days.I can also use a USB mouse or keyboard on the Samsung tablet by using the OTG Micro USB adapter. A keyboard is a very nice addition for writing emails etc but since the tablet has a touch screen the mouse it not really needed. I noticed that the battery on my Action Camera would charge when connected to the micro USB port of the tablet so it might be wise to make sure the tablet's battery is well-charged before connecting a camera. I don't know if it would charge in the reverse direction if the camera battery was full and the tablet battery was low, but it seems like it would.I have ordered a cover and bluetooth keyboard so I'll always have a keyboard available, plus the tablet seems fragile and is rather slippery so it should be well-protected and easy to prop up to read emails etc and watch Netflix. Of course I won't be able to connect the keyboard and the earbuds at the same time but for me that shouldn't be an issue. If you like to listen to music and write at the same time then a USB keyboard might be a consideration. There is an app available called PowerDirector which is a video editor but I have not figured out how to use it yet. It has a "stabilize" feature which the GoPro doesn't need but the SJ7000 could benefit from, if it works.Right now it looks like I'll be able to leave the old laptop home on my next trip so that will save a cosiderable amount of space and weight. Plus the flights will seem shorter if we watch movies most of the way.
In this morning i did Software update. After the update my phone making auto restart in every 2 minutes. Then i try to find out the issue, and i managed to figure out the problem. The reason was "Wi-Fi"Somehow i turned off the Wi-Fi and then my phone is running well. But when i try to turn on the Wi-Fi then that problem happening again. Now I'm using my phone without Wi-Fi.Software details: android security patch level 1 August 2024So i request to Samsung, please solve the update problem. And if possible tell me how can i use Wi-Fi again.
Terrible tablet. Just got it 2 days ago & I already want to return it. I have a Samsung phone & love it so I thought their tablet would be great to have. From the reviews I've read about these Samsung tablets their supposed to be better than Amazon. 1st off it took me over an hour to set up the tablet between troubleshooting the issues myself & on the phone with Samsung. It shouldn't be that hard to link my Samsung account to the tablet but it was. I forgot my password & which is my problem not theirs but asking for a password reset once locked me out. I tried on my cell phone to reset password since I'm auto logged in but it wouldn't let me reset it. Once I was logged in & watching something on the tablet the screen kept refreshing the video which was very annoying. As soon as I was able to access the tablet to do anything with it I kept getting bombarded with messages to update the tablet. It was getting very annoying. I don't have this problem on my phone if I have an update & want to wait 1 hr or so until my shows over to update it but the tablet won't let you use it until you update it 1st. The play store also kept having problems as well where I wasn't able to get into the app. Finally when I was able to it wouldn't let me update payment info in the store. I'm finding this tablet very glitchy. I don't have problems w/ my internet & love my Samsung phone but am preferring my Amazon tablet more.
