Bought this as a gift for my Mom, who needed to replace an aged iPad that was no longer receiving updates. She's always used Android phones, so moving to an Android tablet was seamless for her. Super easy to setup. Great screen with crisp text, vivid colors and plenty of brightness. Battery life has been amazing. The expandable storage is great for traveling. On the downside, there is no headphone jack and there are still key big name Android apps that are not optimized for tablets. But, all in all, she's super happy with the tablet and glad she made the switch.

It is a really smooth tablet to work with. It runs quickly and efficiently. The picture quality is also great. The camera could be better, but thats not really what most people look for in a tablet. My dad and brother use it every day and both are not technically savy, so good for older generations as well. Overall reccomend.

Was a great tablet while it lasted. Stopped working properly just outside of warranty. Contacted Samsung. Said I had to go to Sydney for them to look at it (most likely at my cost), going to Sydney with covid in full swing and lockdowns wasn't an option. They didn't offer a replacement. They were very vague with any information. Wasnt impressed with service. Couldn't just say, yes we may cover this, or no absolutely won't cover this. It was too much effort. Sad thing was all the photos lost

Good product make sure you don't need a phone SIM

You know the old adage, "you get what you paid for", well it applies here as it does most places. I previously owned a earlier model Samsung tab a and this one does not disappoint. Considering the minimal amount of RAM and the storage constraints, all is to be as expected. It's still performs better than tablets that I have with faster more powerful processors! The downside is that while you can expand the onboard memory storage with external micro memory cards, much to my dismay I discovered that there was no wiring nor capabilities for this device to support a phone SIM card thereby enabling me to utilize any three, four or five g network connectivity. Very disappointed as a J3 user

I bought this a couple of months ago to run a mobile game because I needed to get my Samsung phone repaired. I specifically wanted a Samsung tablet because except for a few issues, I was ok with my Samsung phone so I thought the interface would be familiar.I could not have been more wrong. The interface is so completely different I could have gotten a different brand (the salesperson was really pushing me to buy ZTE instead but I insisted on Samsung). Not even Talkback works the same way. This is even worse than the J3. You can add an SD card, but it doesn't really help much.After putting in an SD card to test how well it would work, I was shocked the card got stuck. It was impossible to remove the card.When playing mobile games, it’s too easy to accidentally hit the recent apps or back buttons. But when you need to hit them they’re impossible to find.Unlike with the J3, it’s impossible to lock the volume control buttons to media volume, so the volume control buttons are literally worse than useless.In short, it feels like no one at Samsung tried to test the device by doing things normal users would actually do, such as playing games, trying to install two games, using audio for any purpose, or using swapping SD cards.

great tablet! sturdy works great! seems better than most! My daughter is autistic and has killed many tablets by throwing them down the stairs or smashing them with her face. This being said this kind is the strongest by far!! They take some serious beatings and still work perfectly!!!
