I'm usually an Apple user but I don't hate on Android products. I bought this because it was much more affordable than an iPad and Samsung is a quality brand. I wanted to use this tablet for specifically for drawing, which is where most of my disappointment is coming from. I've had this tablet now over two years. Battery life is good, I charge it probably twice a week. Picture is bright. I don't use in direct sun, but I never have brightness over half. Speakers are pretty good, but when viewing landscape, like a movie, they're both over on the same side. Would buy again.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019 version) is a good tablet especially if you buy one on the used market. It has a quality feel, good screen, pretty good battery life, and is pretty snappy, smooth, and responsive. Has no problems with streaming and media consumption. I'm not sure about processor intensive games as I am not a gamer and my children don't play these games (yet). But for games my kids play, it had no problems. UI is nice and clean, and though it has the usual Samsung apps (that we don't use), they're not intrusive at all. I gave it four stars mainly because I do wish it had DEX built in and I still haven't figured out whether you can mirror the tablet to a larger screen from the USB C port. This is not a replacement for my iPad Air 2, but something that I want to use as a learning tool. I mainly use this tablet to listen to audiobooks, which I first started listening to on my Kindle Fire 8 until its app went haywire! (A software upgrade finally fixed that.) I also appreciate the fact that I can listen to Chirp audiobooks on this tablet, which are far less expensive, but Chirp doesn't let you save your audiobooks to your Micro SD card like Audible does. Mostly cosmetic stuff that, again, should get fixed with updates over time. Over all it's a pretty flawless working tablet so far. Hopefully Samsung sends some updates it's way to round things out. I'm sure they will.
A very capable device for uses such as media streaming, eBook reading, and light mobile gaming. Has a 1080p screen and multitasking which is especially useful. Not especially suited for high end mobile gaming, though at this price point that is to be expected. 64 GB storage is a little low, although for a media device that will probably be enough for many, and Micro SD support does help with that.
This was my larger/newer replacement of 2 generations of nexus tablets (that I fell in love with) and I was absolutely impressed. It has been my trusted go to on the fly, amazing battery, capacity, speed, connectivity. Simply rock solid and perfect for travel companion and when I didn't want to crack open the laptop but needed more than my phone. And throughout the years the quality has not dropped (battery still holding great charge). While OS upgrades seem to have come EOL (sadly) and it's time to find a replacement, which may be tough to find at this quality with combination of features. Great job on this device though.
Bought this model because it is recommended by Consumer Reports and is also well-reviewed elsewhere. 128 GB memory is a plus, there should be no need for additional memory. The unit arrived with minimal packaging, but otherwise like new, with no visible cosmetic or other defects. This being a Samsung product, it arrives with a certain amount of bloatware that is best deleted or isolated, but I was able to copy most apps and data from other devices with minimal effort. Get a external case for it, as the unit is slippery and would be easy to drop. All in all, a good value in an Android tablet.
