If you are looking for a good notetaking pad and can spare another $200 or so you should get the Xiami Pad 6 it is the best value tablet on the market right now.

If this is set and the "slow charger" is used even though the battery is only at the 87% mark it reads 100% and the beeping is suppressed.5) Finally I decided to try out the tablet's capability as a phone. I presumed all I needed to do was transfer my existing phone's SIM card to the tablet. But this turned out not to be the case. With the SIM card in, I was initially encouraged to see that the tablet seemed to establish contact with my provider (provider's name appeared in the top left corner of the screen). However a trial call to a contact failed due to something called "call and text on other devices" which was not set. This feature somehow syncs the tablet with a nearby (Samsung) phone. It is not clear whether both the tablet and the phone need a SIM card but they both need this feature set and in my case my phone (a J4+) does not support it. But the question is - If a device contains a SIM card and has an app called "Phone" and another called "Messages" why does it need T-Mobile and why can't it make calls and send messages all on its own?

All of Samsung's previous smaller tablets have always had quite serious trade - offs, maybe aimed at kids? either the screen resolution was just a little too blocky, or the speed was a bit too slow and lagging. You can get a smaller tablet from Apple with all the bells and whistles but it costs a lot. You can watch videos up to 1080 and it has a 90hz refresh rate.The battery is average if you're only watching videos and nothing power heavy it'll last about a day. I only hope I can add a S-Pen to this set up, but content creation possibilities just grew exponentially. Kudos to Samsung for bringing so many features to a midrange tablet. This tablet is okay, there is nothing special that jumps out but its also not horrible to use. If you can catch it on sale its worth the price especially if you are comparing it to an amazon fire tablet. I wasn't expecting an award winning camera, but come on Samsung my old Galaxy note 8 took better pictures.The second reason, you cannot disable or delete the samsung galaxy app store. Its redundant to have two app stores. However, that's not the issue, at first the galaxy app was downloading random apps to the tablet. I was able to turn that off, but I still get notifications about apps I might like. I have not found a way to turn this off and its frustrating as I do not need "AD's" on my tablet.Lastly samsung UI is fine but the stock android UI is clean and just works. I personally have started migrating away from samsung products because of the skin they put over android that just slows down the phone. I would personally look at the google pixel tablet as you get the full android experience without the bloat that Samsung puts on their devices.I didn't buy this device to leave a bad review but wanted to be honest in my findings. I also have an ipad air and use the galaxy a9+ at work to watch movies/tv and play games once in a while and it works perfectly for that use.

You would not believe this thing has fallen so many times on concrete cement and other places that would have ruined an average smartphone.
