Personally, I think this watch tops the apple watch for asthetic reasons alone. This watch looks like a regular one from far away and still holds all the amazing features of a smart watch. I think Apple watches are tacky looking with the square little screen and even swapping out the band does not really make them more formal looking. However, this Samsung watch is beautiful and can look fancy or sporty whatever your mood may be. Learning to use it didn't take very long for me because I'm quite tech savvy, but I imagine if you're a little unfamiliar with it there's a bit of a learning curve to finding all this watch can do. Awful battery life and calorie tracker

The battery life is AWFUL!!! I charged the watch last night and as I'm getting ready for work this morning, the battery life is now 63%. I barely have used the watch this morning.I got this watch mainly for work purposes since I cut hair and can't see my phone. I work about 10 hours a day and by the time I get off, the watch alerts me it's "low battery" when in the settings it tells me it has 2 days worth of battery life left on it... I will definitely return this watch.Also the calories it shows are wrong. How have I burned 500 calories already when all I have done is walk down stairs? 😂😂 this is a JOKE!!!

BUYER BEWARE: Not Water Resistant

I bought the Watch 4 for my wife as a birthday gift, she has been wanting a smart watch for sometime now. I spent weeks researching different brands and options and settled on the Watch 4 because we have S10 phones and they advertise that they are great fitness trackers. My wife loves to run so I purchased the LTE model so she would always have a way to call or text someone if she needed while tracking her miles and pace. She used the Watch for a couple of months before it started doing weird things. It started to randomly answer calls on the Watch instead of the phone even when you picked up the phone and not the Watch. Battery life was terrible it wouldn't last more than 12 hours, apps would randomly turn on. I sent it in for repair as it was still under warranty and they emailed me back to say it wasn't under warranty due to water damage. I explained to them that the only "water" it could have been in contact with was sweat. They told me there was nothing that they could do it wasn't under warranty. I have found several other people that have had the same problem. The watch 4 is falsely advertised as water resistant and you can use it for swimming laps with it. Samsung will not allow me post this review on their website! DO NOT BUY this watch, save yourself the headaches and money!!!

Better than I thought

I have had this watch since July of this summer and honestly it's been such a game changer. I find it very convenient to not have to be on my phone to check my notifications. I wanted this watch since last year and I decided to get a cheaper version of the watch for a trial run and honestly if you find yourself liking a $50 version of this watch I highly recommend going ahead and buying the watch itself. I'm not much of a healthy person but I have found myself being a lot more consistent and checking my health since getting the watch. like that I don't have to get my phone out what I'm doing stuff to respond to messages on various platforms. I can respond to my friends on discord and instagram without having to get out my phone. It also charges much faster than expected

Decent watch but where are the accessories?!

I have the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (44mm) in silver. Overall, I like the watch. I like sending and receiving texts on my watch (I can respond to Signal messages but cannot initiate them from the watch). The sleep monitoring is helpful and seems accurate. I also like the detection of physical activity, like when I'm walking or running. The battery life is ok. Two days is a big stretch, so I usually just charge it every day (a bit of a pain since I want to sleep with it on, so I need to remember to charge it before bed).One small complaint is that the watch has no left hand setting. So I wear it on my right wrist, like most left-handed people do, but the buttons are in the wrong side. So I'm constantly reaching over the watch face to tap a button. So the software and hardware could handle it, if it were made by a company that cared about its customers.The bigger complaint I have is accessories. If you don't love the stock silicon watch band, you are out of luck. I started looking for a metal band as soon as it was released. A Milanese band was advertised on their site for months as "coming soon." I signed up to receive a notification of its availability but none ever came. By accident, I saw it available in early December and ordered it (silver, 44mm). They sent me the wrong size (40mm) which I returned. They sent me the wrong size (40mm) again, which I returned again. The third order has been placed since mid-December with no end in sight. Customer service is apologetic and confident it'll be sent soon. I receive periodic emails about my order, saying it's delayed and will ship in the next three weeks. Customer service is confident it'll arrive by that date. I've played this game since mid-December and it's wearing thin. No one knows where the watchband is but everyone knows it'll be sent soon. Last few times I checked, the wireless charging trio platform is MIA too. Good luck getting accessories for this watch; they don't seem to exist and Samsung doesn't seem to be in any hurry to make them available.

Extremely Dissapointing Experience

I have had an incredibly poor experience with purchasing the Galaxy Watch 4. 1. I purchased it so that my mother (who has hyperthyroidism can monitor her heart rate. However, nowhere was the information stated that the ECG only works with Samsung Galaxy devices. It only stated that Android phones required a certain OS or higher. So now we need to buy her a new phone. 2. The day that the watch arrived, (purchased direct from Samsung) I checked the Samsung website, and the price had gone down 60$. So now we overpaid for a Watch which is only usable with the purchase of a new phone. 3. The Watch 4 only holds battery for a day with constant heart rate readings (why we purchased it). When we initially ordered the watch, we were given an estimated delivery date of 4 weeks, I complained and the rep said he would offer a 10% refund, this never happened. Extremely disappointed and we feel boxed into keeping Samsung as the lesser of two evils as Apple (the only other EKG watch) boxes you in just as much.

Going from 3 to 4 Samsung Watches

I've used Samsung devices for 20 years. The Gear 3 Frontier watch has been an excellent watch for me for 3+ years but all of the sudden, after recent updates, it's charge only lasted hours instead of days. I like how many watch faces were available. How quickly it responded. How it helped me keep track of my blood sugar (with a lot of help from other apps) and helped control my music. Well maybe it was time to update. I bought a Galaxy 4 watch. I've had it 4 working days. The charge will last almost 2 days. It only has a handful of useful faces that are stylish. Getting new faces through the play store really is tedious. One face I liked needs 3 other apps to work as shown and the creator of the face wants donations. All that being said the Galaxy 4, 40mm is lighter and has some neat features but it's not as nimble as the 3 was. Also it's not completely compatible with my year and a half old Note 20 Ultra. A phone more expensive then my last 3 computers. Here's hoping Samsung figures out how to be as good as they were a couple years ago.

Not acceptable! SAMSUNG GALAXY WATCH 4

Its my first and more than likely last watch I'll buy from Samsung. It literally has no features I actually use. The inability to load apps from my phone makes the watch useless. I could have got a fit it instead since this watch is basically made for Samsung Health Apps only. Its more like an Apple watch, but much less features. I bought this mainly for Life Alert and even that can't be added to this watch. I'd love to onow the objective of this product. Right now I can't think of 1 reason to keep it since it doesn't even stay charged all day. That defeats the entire purpose of having a smart watch.
