The band is much too big for my small wrist (5.125"). I buckle it on the first hole, and it still wiggles around. I then have to lace the excess through the stays. It adds a lot of bulk and weight to an already heavy watch. I had the fabric band on my Watch 6. Still annoyingly too long, but less bulk and faster to clasp and unclasp (Velcro). I'm very disappointed with the colors and the size.

I have a normal-sized female wrist, and this band is HUGE. It's literally unwearable. Please see the other reviews.In the product photo you can see there are 16 holes for adjustment (other straps have several fewer) - the only way to put it on is to make it overlap 2 or even 3 times. It's absolutely a manufacturing defect or poor decision-making by Samsung designers.

But if your wrist is big enough, there isn't enough to loop through and it just sticks out. Horrible design.I called them to exchange this band for a different one, and was told they can't exchange it.Samsung customer service is by far thee worst customer service I've ever had to deal with.

The material seems nice but the band is way too long! Not offered in small size only M/L looks awful and bulky. Same question everyone else is asking who designed this?! I'm surprised it made in out to production being a product that should be improved every year. I guess I'm disappointed because I was so excited to receive my watch now I have to shop for new band. This should be offered in small size and not extra long strap! Please fix it.
The Athleisure bands which came with my purchase of the watch7, are far too large. I had to recheck my watch 5 bands to make sure I in fact was previously using M/L sizing (I am). I'm not sure why Samsung thought this massive watch band would be popular? It is not only too long, I can't imagine that the bulge on the end (after wrapping the end of the band back through the loops) would be very comfortable. I've sent my bands back as part of an exchange, and we'll see how the S/M size fits (maybe I'll move to sport bands)???
Looks are the only thing this has going for it. This band is terribly difficult to put on and very bulky. You're apparently supposed to fold it over and feed it back through the tail holders, but this can be difficult and time consuming.Samsung support is no help on this either. Apparently the choice is to return the band that came with the watch and after they process the return they will issue you a promo code to purchase a replacement band for free. The problem with that is then you are without a watch for 2+ weeks, unless you have purchased a backup band. So I'll be returning the watch and the band then re-ordering a whole new watch and new band....seems like a huge waste of resources to me.
I selected it when ordering my Galaxy Watch 7, I loved the color and the nylon material, but was unaware that it was EXTRA long for a reason: Apparently if you have the need to put it outside a heavy jacket (like in winter), you can with this band. WHO DOES THAT??!!! Personally, I hate it. I have small wrists, so I have to loop the excess under the strap, leaving a lump of material on one side of the band next to the watch. It gets caught when putting on/talking of long sleeve shirts and coat/jackets. Samsung should make buyers more aware of this! Meanwhile, I'm searching for an off-market band to replace it.
This is the band that I chose when I got the Galaxy Watch7 and it is the most uncomfortable watchband I've ever worn. For this to cost $70 and be this terrible is absurd. The band has so much extra length just so you can tuck it under or over that it should just be manufactured with less. Do your self a favor and choose a different band for your watch and then go buy a $9 band off that big online retailer we all subscribe to.
Overall I really like this band. I have large wrists and the extra length was appreciated. I think it's more comfortable than the standard band included with the Watch7. The metal loops to tuck in the band are very large, though. I might be using it incorrectly, but when using a laptop I worry about scratching the palm wrest area due to the protruding metal. Otherwise, very happy with this band. My band was included with my order, however; I would not spend $70 on this.

The problem is Samsung made a marketing error to believe that there are lots of smart watch users who are used to wearing nato style watch bands. The whole idea of the nato style band is that even if you lose connection with one of the watch strap pins, your watch won't fall off from the band. It is designed to give you a more "rugged" look and feel of the watch. This strap is designed to give the LOOK of the rugged nato band without the actual benefit of such band. No wonder people are confused as to why the strap is so "long." No wonder why Samsung is given this strap away.It's a good strap, sure.
