I'm giving you two stars only because the concept of your phones has always been good. Excellent camera quality. Not always great with updates and complaints or issues that need addressing. RESPECTFULLY-Every low rating is met with a response that eludes to the customer not taking proper care of their phone and upselling the warranty even though it's within the 12 month period. You told one customer they weren't taking care of the hinges gently enough and how much you have worked to make sure the hinges were strong. There are multiple complaints about the hinges being defective. Everyone can't be wrong so you should take ownership of these complaints. You've taken away the ability to use wired earbuds via the media hole shaped internal plug so you now must purchase ONLY SAMSUNG COMPATIBLE (the others don't work) earbuds which means you can't charge the phone at the same time and you must purchase a cube to use immediately again only SAMSUNG COMPATIBLE. Anything else won't charge due to compatibility issues. The phone is more powerful than over the counter emergency chargers. The phone says that as soon as it's connected! I've learned the hard way there's no room for emergency road trip charging options. I tried during the course of 18 hours and many stores along the way. Once I reached my destination without GPS I had to order a SAMSUNG charger overnight. Last, as expensive as your phones are, why won't you consider re- including the complete charger+cube aka plug? Why won't you include what was once the little media plug for separate wireless earbuds so we CAN charge the phone and still be hands free with wired earbuds? There is no phone I can find made by SAMSUNG that still sells those features. I won't be a repeat customer after almost 30 years, sadly because I loved them no matter the price until 2 small changes that made no sense and I can't use without. I hope you've taken the time to consider my issues as I've taken the time to write you with sincerity believing you do care about the customer.

I couldn't do that so I went through my insurance company and got another phone the next day which cost me my deductible of $100..... It's too bad I had to pay for a phone that was a defective Samsung phone...... I get my second phone and guess what happens???? The exact same thing happens within 30 days!! Samsung will clearly take care of their customer in this situation, right? Wrong! They did a ticket and had me send it to Texas..... They received it in a couple of days later and they sent it right back to me. Why? The Samsung representative wrote the ticket up wrong and didn't include the IMEI. So I called Samsung and they wrote up another ticket and had me send it to Texas again! Within a couple days they came back that it wasn't under warranty and they wanted to charge me $218 to fix it! I had them send it back to me and now I'm going through my insurance and paying another $100 to get the phone.... Once I receive it, I will take it to T-Mobile and trade it in for an iPhone.... My first one ever as I've always had Samsung phones.... Here's the problem I'm already out $200, I traded in a nice Galaxy s20 and they show a $750 balance on my account for this defective flip phone that I have to dump as I know it'll happen again..... Now I have to pay down the $700 by a few hundred dollars to get to halfway mark and then they said they would let me trade it in and give me a discount but it's still all in all it's going to cost between 1,000 and $2,000..... In addition to the $$, I had so much time lost (hours and hours on the phone with samsung and tmobile) all the while having to use this five-year-old cellphone while Samsung was jerking me around and not standing behind their product..... Samsung has used this playbook many times deny deny deny..... I had a Samsung refrigerator with a bad ice maker..... Thousands of people had the same issue and they denied there was an issue..... Class action resulted in them end up fixing the refrigerator's you're paying..... The same thing is going to happen here as I'm already talking with the lawyer. I've documented EVERYTHING....have take tons of pictures, videos, logged my calls with the and every communication.... I will pass that on to the lawyers who are very interested as they have sued Samsung before.

I recently took Fold4, Watch5 Pro LTE and Buds2Pro on a trip to Europe and they just improved my travel experience by several notches:Fold4: It came in handy to play engaging games and watch downloaded movies when the in-seat entertainment sucked in terms of selection/audio quality etc. I was able to use it for planning/editing/booking trips easily using the larger screen and a very improved browser experience that came with it. Even at home, it has replaced my laptop for regular usage, especially web browsing and for joining video conferences, thanks to the "90 degree" fold position and a decent, hidden camera on the larger screen - no more holding the phone in hand and shaky videos!Watch 5 Pro LTE: I was afraid it would be larger than my wrists, but it wasn't (mind you, I have thin wrists). It does not look out of place. While the included magnetic band is great, I replaced it with a third party metallic one to cater to my taste. Only downside is that I had to carry the watch charger cable for my travel but it does not take up much space (or any space). A key point to note - the battery is awesome. It lasted for 3+ days even when I was constantly fiddling with the settings to tweak it to my taste and walked several miles on my trip keeping the sensors active. It helped me reduce "take-out-the-phone-from-the-pocket" instances, especially when I was trekking or dining. However, I preferred to use my phone for longer replies to messages (as one would imagine the watch 5 keyboard is not meant for long time use). Unfortunately, my carrier Google Fi does not have plans that support the LTE feature for watches, so I have not been able to test that yet. I did use the watch speakers/mic to answer a few calls (bluetooth) and was hapy with the quality. I see myself wearing it more at home when I am cooking so I do not have to reach out for my phone when someone is calling/messaging. Looking at the "Health Stats" actually motivates me to walk more.Buds2pro - Huge improvement coming from Gen I Buds. I thoroughly enjoyed the ANC features while on the plane - they are a great replacement for my Bose NC headphone that stays on your neck. I was extremely happy with how it drowned out the jet engine noise and made my travel more enjoyable. Very sleek case too which makes it easier to keep in the pocket during travels.Some negatives:Fold4: I wish it had an S-pen slot built in. I decided to leave the Fold4 s-pen behind during my travel as the case to hold it is not ergonomical to keep it in pocket. Although I do not use it much, for a phablet of this kind, it would signicificanlty improve the user experience (UX). I will probably switch to a future version with an in-built slot.Watch5 Pro LTE: A rotary bezel like previous gen would have been a great UX. I do not use the software replacement of that very much (dragging your finger along the bezel) and is not as intuitive.Overall, an excellent device and a great buy!

I couldn't do that so I went through my insurance company and got another phone the next day which cost me my deductible of $100..... It's too bad I had to pay for a phone that was a defective Samsung phone...... I get my second phone and guess what happens???? The exact same thing happens within 30 days!! Samsung will clearly take care of their customer in this situation, right? Wrong! They did a ticket and had me send it to Texas..... They received it in a couple of days later and they sent it right back to me. Why? The Samsung representative wrote the ticket up wrong and didn't include the IMEI. So I called Samsung and they wrote up another ticket and had me send it to Texas again! Within a couple days they came back that it wasn't under warranty and they wanted to charge me $218 to fix it! I had them send it back to me and now I'm going through my insurance and paying another $100 to get the phone.... Once I receive it, I will take it to T-Mobile and trade it in for an iPhone.... My first one ever as I've always had Samsung phones.... Here's the problem I'm already out $200, I traded in a nice Galaxy s20 and they show a $750 balance on my account for this defective flip phone that I have to dump as I know it'll happen again..... Now I have to pay down the $700 by a few hundred dollars to get to halfway mark and then they said they would let me trade it in and give me a discount but it's still all in all it's going to cost between 1,000 and $2,000..... In addition to the $$, I had so much time lost (hours and hours on the phone with samsung and tmobile) all the while having to use this five-year-old cellphone while Samsung was jerking me around and not standing behind their product..... Samsung has used this playbook many times deny deny deny..... I had a Samsung refrigerator with a bad ice maker..... Thousands of people had the same issue and they denied there was an issue..... Class action resulted in them end up fixing the refrigerator's you're paying..... The same thing is going to happen here as I'm already talking with the lawyer. I've documented EVERYTHING....have take tons of pictures, videos, logged my calls with the and every communication.... I will pass that on to the lawyers who are very interested as they have sued Samsung before.

I recently took Fold4, Watch5 Pro LTE and Buds2Pro on a trip to Europe and they just improved my travel experience by several notches:Fold4: It came in handy to play engaging games and watch downloaded movies when the in-seat entertainment sucked in terms of selection/audio quality etc. I was able to use it for planning/editing/booking trips easily using the larger screen and a very improved browser experience that came with it. Even at home, it has replaced my laptop for regular usage, especially web browsing and for joining video conferences, thanks to the "90 degree" fold position and a decent, hidden camera on the larger screen - no more holding the phone in hand and shaky videos!Watch 5 Pro LTE: I was afraid it would be larger than my wrists, but it wasn't (mind you, I have thin wrists). It does not look out of place. While the included magnetic band is great, I replaced it with a third party metallic one to cater to my taste. Only downside is that I had to carry the watch charger cable for my travel but it does not take up much space (or any space). A key point to note - the battery is awesome. It lasted for 3+ days even when I was constantly fiddling with the settings to tweak it to my taste and walked several miles on my trip keeping the sensors active. It helped me reduce "take-out-the-phone-from-the-pocket" instances, especially when I was trekking or dining. However, I preferred to use my phone for longer replies to messages (as one would imagine the watch 5 keyboard is not meant for long time use). Unfortunately, my carrier Google Fi does not have plans that support the LTE feature for watches, so I have not been able to test that yet. I did use the watch speakers/mic to answer a few calls (bluetooth) and was hapy with the quality. I see myself wearing it more at home when I am cooking so I do not have to reach out for my phone when someone is calling/messaging. Looking at the "Health Stats" actually motivates me to walk more.Buds2pro - Huge improvement coming from Gen I Buds. I thoroughly enjoyed the ANC features while on the plane - they are a great replacement for my Bose NC headphone that stays on your neck. I was extremely happy with how it drowned out the jet engine noise and made my travel more enjoyable. Very sleek case too which makes it easier to keep in the pocket during travels.Some negatives:Fold4: I wish it had an S-pen slot built in. I decided to leave the Fold4 s-pen behind during my travel as the case to hold it is not ergonomical to keep it in pocket. Although I do not use it much, for a phablet of this kind, it would signicificanlty improve the user experience (UX). I will probably switch to a future version with an in-built slot.Watch5 Pro LTE: A rotary bezel like previous gen would have been a great UX. I do not use the software replacement of that very much (dragging your finger along the bezel) and is not as intuitive.Overall, an excellent device and a great buy!

The downsides FOR ME, are unimportant, so I prefer to use something fun compared to the "old reliable". Products like the flip and fold phones show me that big corporations can actually create new and interesting tech instead of regurgitating the same product over and over again. Even though Samsung is guilty with this as well, they have always been ahead of the competition when it comes to making interesting gimmicky side projects like the note line of phones, and edge line. They eventually took X gimmick or idea, iterated on it, and released a better, more refined version. Case in point, the flip 4 is the first phone in this line that is really competitive with the competition. For me, the product is around an 80 to 90/100 and I can't ask for anything better for the price point and the tech out at the moment (thank you guys who used the flip 1 to 3 for beta testing the design), but for some people, the gimmick isn't useful or fun enough for the price asked, and they might give it more of a 3 star review. If you have the expectation that this phone should be better than the tried and true flat phones out there that has been done for more than a decade now, please don't do that. Be pleasantly surprised for a quirky, slightly flawed product that comes so close to the current best phones on the market. But remember, those phones don't flip.This review is coming from a guy who bought the lavender color, 128 gb model, and I've been using the Samsung S 10 before this, the S 7 edge before that, the Note 4 before that, the IPhone 4S before that (cough cough), and a flip phone before that. I've come full circle.

This is beneficial for video calls as you no longer have to find something to lean your phone onto!In full open mode, the phone has a nice bright and colourful screen, and moving images are super smooth with its 120Hz refresh rate. Note, this screen is not a piece of glass and actually has a screen protector applied out of the box. This protector must not be removed. I have found that the screen is a bit of a dust catcher, and where I would usually wipe it against my clothes, that doesnt work quite as well due to the raised edge that exists all around the screen. Im not sure why this raised border is there but as its similar in protrusion to a normal phone case, so I expect most people will be used to it being there.I regularly visit building sites, and i have noticed that tiny dust particles can sometimes enter the hinge making a crushing sound when I open the phone. This is not ideal at all, however I can imagine that most people may not experience this if they keep the phone clean at all times!Overall, I love that the phone folds and I believe future iterations will just get better.

The design itself is a big help for me as i have smaller hands, so it being able to flip closed makes it easer for me to carry around and fit into my pockets. sadly i dont have much to say about the specs because im not really knowledgeable on those things but the phone works perfectly fine and has good battery life so thats all i really need. And at the time when i pre-ordered i got an upgrade to get the 256G version for free, so for someone that's more on the artistic side and needs more space for my gallery it was a big plus!!
