Agree with other reviewers, battery ran for 15 min on max with no power attachment. Not sure how Samsung can get away with this. A normal house takes at least 50 mins to clean properly. Cost of extra battery is rediculous given upfront cost of item. I am taking mine back tomorrow and seeking a refund. Not fit for purpose. Disappointed for sure.

Vacuum is not practical at all. You get about 15 to 20 mins to clean on max power (less power is useless) before it cuts off and has to be charged again for 2 hours. I can't get anything done with it and I never have a fully clean house now because it keeps cutting off mid clean. The hoover itself is so sleek and nice but the battery life is just ridiculous that it's just useless because of it.

The vacuum is great and powerful but the battery doesn't last long on usage. Using the vacuum on medium lasted around 45min if lucky. Charged it again on full to hoover upstairs carpet on high then less than 15 or 20 minutes the vacuum turns of meaning battery is low. I don't believe it's fair to be purchasing a 2nd battery at a high cost. 1st Samsung needs to improve on their battery usage to last longer for the vacuum. Great vacuum but because of the battery my wife considers it rubbish which is a pain because the vacuum cost me lots of money £599
Bought instead of the Ned v15 dyson. Have had for a month now with no issues. There are people reviewing the v90 baldly due to run time. They just need to do their research better. 20min run time with a powered head is very reasonable. It says up to 60min on low power with a non powered accessory attached. These numbers are up there with Dyson and other high end stickers vacs. So people who are complaining about run time just didn't do their research properly. Definitely not a fault/misinformation on Samsung's behalf.Would buy an extra battery but yes $250 is very steep. Other than that...great job Samsung
When tbis product entered my life I was at an all time low. My wife had left me and Id lost my job. I remember looking at my bank balance, I had only $249 left and rent, food and a kidney transplant to pay for, but I knew this battery would change everything. So I took the cash out of the atm and hitchhiked my way to a Good Guys, I almost cried when I finally got it in my hands. So smooth. So grey. So battery like. I called it Slattery, and since then my life has changed. I met a lovely yoga instructor, started my own tantric plumbing business and bought a yacht. Quick question tho, anyone know what kind of machine this battery fits
You need to set realistic expectations.You won't get 60 minutes on full power.However they have never stated 1 hour of cleaning on full power.I can clean my whole home on the lowest setting, with out any struggle. I find the lowest power setting more the enough to clean the house. I would highly recommend getting a second battery because it is handy to have. Would recommend to family and friends.-Great build quality-Good feel-light on the armYou get what you pay for.
Charging time is almost 3 hours for an autonomy of 35-40 mins on medium setting...so not really great. You need to have 2 batteries to clean a bigger house or if you also use the mopping head. Sadly, no higher capacity alternatives available. Not cheap either.
Bought this vacuum with expectations of getting up to 60 min of run time. On the medium (default) setting I'm lucky to get 20 min and on the high setting run time is reduced to under 10 min. Absolutely pathetic for a battery that cost $249 alone and a vacuum ~ $1000. Would need 3 batteries to vacuum my house at a comfortable pace. Disappointing.
The Jet 90 will run for around an hour on the low setting as advertised, the low setting being a good suction to your average vacuum.I get about 30-40 mins out of a full charge on medium which I can do my whole house on.The suction is very, very good and consistent and is far beyond the Dyson and Bosch vacuums I have used (and sold, I work retail)Amazing product.
