I wanted Windows as a secondary OS on my new OLED Steam Deck but was afraid the Windows installer would somehow wreck my Steam OS install if I attempted to put it on the internal drive...My solution?This nifty little pro card! I have purchased five or six of the Samsung Pro Plus micro SDXC cards in the past 2 years, in sizes ranging from 128 to 512. When I test these on USB C 3.0 card readers-I have two different brand card readers- I have never had a single write speed below 79 mb/s, Which makes these consistently faster than some of my V60 cards. In the case of the 512gb card specifically, I've had write speeds consistently over 105 mb/s. The Reed speeds tend to be around 110 to 130 mb/s in my tests. An incredibly strong performance given the price of the cards.For the price, these cannot be beat. Even for my highest bit rate Canon and Panasonic consumer hybrid bodies, I can use these cards and not worry about dropping frames.

I did a good bit of research comparing the Samsung to the Sandisk and found no logical clear winner between the two. It seems that the Sandisk is a micro fraction faster than the Samsung but the Samsung is more reliable. I also read that the tiny difference in speed has no impact on anything.I bought three of these to use in my GoPro and have found them to be excellent. I have had no reliability issues nor have I had any problem with read/write speed. I have recorded hours at 5k with no issues whatsoever.I recommend this product because of the fair price and the quality.

I love this Samsung microSD card. It performs very well for my need. I use it as the second staorage for my smartphone in daily use. In addition to provide me extra memory spaces for taking photos, I can download video files online for my personal view. It is very important because I would like to save those files for later reviews. Another good advantage of this order also including a full-size SD adapter so that I can put the microSD card in it and bring it to my labtop or desktop computer to do file management use. The 512GB size is perfect and I have plenty of room to save files. This compact size card is great and I wouldn't mind to purchase additional pieces as spare in case I need it.

The adapter and the external craftsmanship or dampening or both - along with the insane durability and reliability of Samsung's Flash Memory division. Says a ton, especially considering the speeds of their NVMe blades today, and how well this little sliver has held up nearly a decade and through three MacBook Pros. I had the 2012 15" when I bought it, got the 2015 15" and waited til now to pick up the M series build - and I consider those computers (the first two, and this one ROCKS!) to have seriously held up their end of the bargain, with the 2012 still working well, and the 2015 picked me up almost a thousand towards the new M2 16"!But they've all been outlasted by this venerable little piece of plastic holding 20,000 tracks, beds and other audio effects and pieces with a couple dozen GBs to spare.I believe the same manufacturer is responsible for the speed of my new machine as well, as through the grapevine word flows - and it's reading at 6,640Mb/s and writing @ 6,980Mb/s! I've been both jobs blow through the 7Gb/s rate but the consistency is phenomenal.I'd never consider another manufacturer for my 'everything', literally. From pics and vids to meetings, contacts calendars, backups and media - I know I'm safe with my local backups being on Sammy drives; thumb drives, SD - NVMe or my microSDXC 128GB for years with confidence. I'll consider nothing else and recently purchased the T-7 2TB external Thunderbolt ¾ USB-C external and it's amazing! For scratch audio and video and cache files, there's zero latency and an awesome way to save the internal SSD with leftover duff A/V odds and sods6 out of 5 stars!Keep up the excellent work Samsung!
