This mSATA version is as good as the usual 2.5" drives, just alot smaller.This is the second one of these that I've used recently and is running Windows 2012R2 server, Oracle &Tomcat quite happily in my Intel NUC. The other was a replacement laptop system drive for a cutomer.Simple to install, just push into the mSATA socket and screw in a screw at the other end, I had the whole thing set up in less than 10 minutes, easy.

Replaced another brand msata drive with this one. Noticeable difference in write speeds. Samsung has become the standard for SSD's.
The "User Manual" that came with the the EVO mSATA 850 is a joke. No installation advice whatsoever, just guarantee in umpteen languages.The Samsung SSD website gives no installation advice at all. Truly dreadful support. I suppose I'll have to pay a third-party to install it.

Excellent product. Easy to install and works perfect. I am not very technical minded, it was breeze to install and clone the disc.
Once I installed it on my motherboard (MSI Z87), burnt out my video card, overheated any other cards, crashes and then corrupted boot files. I just hope it's only this drive or motherboard combo but once took out, comp back to perfect condition. using su800 ssd as replacement and no problems.
Works Great. however it runs very hot. needs lots of ventilation around it when copying lots of data on and off.
