SAMSUNG 42” Class S90D OLED Smart TV QN42S90DAEXZA 2024
Delivery between 13–17 July $15.52

Actual blackness in whatever you're watching. No more pixilated mess. Dark movies/ shows are an absolute dream to watch now. You can see everything. The screen itself is shiny, so any other lighting in the room will reflect on the screen while you are watching. So if you want light other than the screen, use backlighting.

Fantastic TV, vibrant colours, black is properly black, very impressed. Very easy setup as well via SmartPhone and SmartThings. Quickest SmartTV setup I've ever been through. Highly recommended product (65" TV for me). 77/85" would be a bit oversize for out room.

I love this TV! The clarity of picture makes you feel like you in the room with the people you are watching. I enjoy the quick response of the remote and IR, this may not sound like much to some people, however, if you have had this problem in the past you will appreciate this feature. Since all my phones are Samsung the whole family loves the "Cast" feature, it brings us together to share our memories and our day. Thank you Samsung for the many features I use daily and take for granted.

I ordered the 42 inch OLED Tizen Smart Tv QN42S90DAEXZC because in the advertisement it shows as a single leg stand. This was the main reason I decided to purchase this exact model. When I received it, it was with a two leg stand and immediately returned it. What I will never understand is why do they not at least right in the describe but rather mislead the public with a different picture. This was a very disappointing experience and a waste of time considering I ordered it twice and twice the order was wrong. It would be nice if someone, anyone could clarify if this all was a shipping mistake and that this module does in fact come as a single leg support. If so I would be willing to reconsider this purchase, but until then I could not trust Best Buy and it’s ... MoreI ordered the 42 inch OLED Tizen Smart Tv QN42S90DAEXZC because in the advertisement it shows as a single leg stand. My first Oled and Samsung TV doesn't dissapoint. This my gaming TV. I love the gaming features, ease of use, syncing with my phone(S23Ultra). This by far has the most features of any tv I have ever owned. It screen shares with phone, I can use my Samsung ear buds for audio and switch back to my phone flawlessly!. Oled TV has impressed me so much I don't think I can ever go back. I can stream games also on xbox, Luna, and a few more with smoothness and beautiful graphics. I am a Playstation guy and jumped at the chance to play Xbox Starfield(with gamepass subscription) with no console or xbox controller. I can play with my PS5 dual sense. That is wild to me and I love it!. Samsung keep making Oleds like this one!
This is my best purchase yet! I have always chosen Samusung for all my electronics, phones etc but this eight here is top tier.Super crystal clear display and a plethora of visual and sound options to tune to your liking. All made to be easily accessible.
I feel that this TV has a very good quality compared to my previous one. This TV's lighting is so vibrant, and the smoothness of its animation surprises me. I would suggest people to buy this TV instead of others as this TV has also a very good quality as I have been using this TV for 4 years and its condition is still like new!
I received four (4) in a row of defective 65' s90d TVs. It's been two and a half months since the issue with my first order and this issue is still not solved - Samsung continues sending me new replacements with the same and new defects! The main defects of all the TVs I got:1. Significant deformation of the OLED panel alongside the upper edge of the screen as well as on the side, numerous scratches.2. Again bent panel, TV was in used condition (covered in dirt all over, had a tree leaf inside the box, traces of openings of plastic accessories packaging).3. Was delivered in the damaged box (hole on the front side of the box) - rejected on delivery.4. Vertical line of black unlit pixels across the screen, bent panel, peeling off the left bottom corner of the ... MoreI received four (4) in a row of defective 65' s90d TVs. I was hesitant between an LG C4 OLED tv, which was the one i saw the most reviews on and a Sony Bravia a90k, which a friend of mine recommended to me and heavily vouched for. I took a good look at both in person and couldnt decide, until i saw the LG C4 was on sale. I purchased the LG and i was somewhat dissapointed as the colors looked washed out and the UI wasnt the best. it felt like using a nintendo wii as its the fastest way to navigate through their okayish UI. I returned it and saw they had a Samsung S90D in stock for the exact same price and decided to pull the trigger and its a night and day differenct. This is directly quoted from RTINGS website when comparing the C4 and the S90D ..... This is directly quoted from RTINGS website when comparing the C4 and the S90D ..... "The Samsung gets brighter in HDR, so bright highlights stand out more on it, and it maintains its HDR brightness better while in 'Game Mode.' The Samsung TV also has a wider color gamut, better color volume, and better HDR gradient handling, so colors in HDR are more vibrant, lifelike, brighter, and have less banding. The Samsung has a wider viewing angle, and the image doesn't have a green tint that worsens as you move off-center, so it's the better choice for watching TV in a group setting. However, the LG supports Dolby Vision and DTS audio formats, so it's the better option for those looking to get the most out of their physical media.".... Almost everything about the Samsung i prefer except the motion clarity. When watching movies or shows on it looks buttery smooth one second, but then choppy for another, but this is my experience on most TV's, but i mainly use it for gaming. On the PS5 and on my pc, games run smooth as it goes to 144hz without needing to overclock. I was hesitant on going for a Samsung because i hardly have seen OLEDs from them but i can safely say the picture quality is better than the LG but the sound quality did seem a tad bit better on the LG but can be improved with an external speaker system. If you value a better picture quality, i recommend the S90D
It’s an oled display so you know what you’re getting—perfect blacks with an infinite contrast ratio and per pixel dimming meaning no blooming. The colors on offer are outstanding here despite the technical shortcomings of woled technology. The interface is a little clunky but it’s responsive enough and easy to navigate. The only drawback here honestly is its lack of brightness. In its most accurate mode, I couldn’t get it to go past 600 nits. That’s just not enough to preserve highlight detail in many hdr scenes regardless of tone mapping. Its competitor gets significantly brighter (by about 200 nits) and is otherwise similar in every other regard (though you get hdr10+ here but no Dolby Vision—hdr10+ seems to be in more games these days). If the brightness difference isn’t an issue for you then you can’t go wrong with either panel though you might as well get last year’s LG model on sale as they get similarly bright and the extra 24 hz of 144 hz vs 120 hz isn’t worth the price difference.
