I contacted very who said that i need to talk to Samsung, I talked to samsung and they asked me to provide an invoice with model and serial number. I'm not a TV expert but this "QLED" one has a really great picture quality whatever the content. It sits completely flat on the wall and is a couple of centimetres deep. The box is hidden out of the way and the result is very tidy. The Samsung "art mode" is nice and allows you to have high quality art showing on the screen (in a "low power" mode) when the TV is off. You also get a more standard remote control which seems a bit easier to use but, well, it's a very standard Samsung control and not as cool as the other one!I bought this TV with installation (because I have mobility issues which prevent me from doing it myself). The two guys from John Lewis were brilliant and took care to put the TV exactly where I wanted it to be and completely straight. They cleaned up afterwards too.

And even at the right size, the frame must be manually removed for each uploaded picture.I understand it probably costs money to design and maintain the software, but please Samsung consider fixing these issues for older and future models.

Great Customer service and Price for Samsung 65"TV

The Samsung TV Frame 65" 2021 model purchased from Richer Sounds, was the best price offered compared to other websites and also included free soundabar and 6 year warranty. Overall for the price I am happy with the TV, easy to set up and install. Comes with two remotes 9although one is not fully functional), the picture quality is excellent, the menu could be improved as well as the remote control function buttons. The thin wire to coonect box is very thin, so not an eye sore when TV is hung on a wall 0nly 25mm thick and sits flat against wall. not fully discovered its full function, but main reason i also purchased this item was because of the Gallery option with great realistic paintings and the ability to add your own pics. Ensure they are formatted to 3840 x 2160 pixels. Functions of frame options could have been improved and ability to add short videos for display. Also reflection is an issue if you have TV to high up wall as it reflects the ceiling lights when on, as well as reflections from window. Otherwise a satisfied customer. Everyone loves the picture gallery functions and I change the pics to add family photos for display.

Great TV but major flaw :(
26 February 2023

This is my second frame TV, I have an original 65" in the loungeroom and wanted the same art series in the bedroom so just pulled the trigger on a 43" which I could not get the sensor to work for 3 weeks out of the box consistentlyThe newer version is better with the cable now supplying power to the monitor so no power is required up on the wall which is awesome. The TV guide is much smoother too without the constant spinning wheel while trying to load what's on but it has one major flaw which I'm really unhappy with. Being in a smaller room now and on the wall when I turn the lights on or open the curtains which should enable the sensor to bring the artwork up when it senses movement it doesn't due to the very slim size and position of the movement sensor. Being in a smaller room now and on the wall when I turn the lights on or open the curtains which should enable the sensor to bring the artwork up when it senses movement it doesn't due to the very slim size and position of the movement sensor. They have mounted it to the bottom rear corner of the monitor so the lights from the room cast a shadow from it's frame and it thinks it's still in dark mode even in full daylight. I've had a Samsung tech out that thought it was a faulty sensor and even had the unit replaced under warranty untill I finally worked out what was happening when I put my phone down on the bench and it reflected light up to the sensor! I have since sat a mirror on the cabinet below the tv directing light towards the sensor and it is working fine and I now get the function (art mode turns on) when I walk in the room but this is rediculous it takes this for it to do what it's meant to. This could easily be rectified if Samsung redesigned the sensor to sit flush with the front of the TV's frame or move it to the top so no shadows could be cast on the sensor.I love the art series too much to get a refund but hope they rethink the design in the future.

Great TV, Horrible Product Documentation
14 January 2022

This TV's design is great for RVs like ours - thin, relatively lightweight, easy to mount (in our case anyway), with great image quality and smart features. We also like the separate One Connect box, it makes for a super clean look with all wires hidden.Ours was a late 2021 purchase, the 4k@60hz version. So why are we not giving our new TV a great overall rating? Product inconsistency and lack of product documentation. The TV market is hypercompetitive and Samsung hasn't done a good job documenting their ever-changing lineup of products. And it's not just their TVs (30/60/120hz, QLED/OLED/neo-), it's also their One Connect boxes. Nope. So if you're buying The Frame TV from a brick-and-mortar store or from an online store, read the fine print and then make certain you received what you expected. And then expect to have to sweat the connection details anyway.

Picture is great but the TV has unforgivable bugs
25 September 2023

I like this TV, it has a nice picture and the setup with a connection box outside the actual TV is a good solution for me. It feels modern and it hangs nicely on the wall. But we are not using the frame mode that much after the initial thrill is settled. But there is a BIG but. Somehow Samsung introduced a bug in the current version of the software 2141.2 that involves how the TV handles HDMI ports and CEC/E-ARC devices. It has been working great until now when I cant change volume on my connected Sonos AMP (through HDMI E-ARC) through the TVs remote control. And also, whenever my Google Chromecast (with google TV) is connected on another HDMI port, the TV never discovers the sound system. I need to plug out and in the chromecast to get the TV to connect to Sonos. ... MoreI like this TV, it has a nice picture and the setup with a connection box outside the actual TV is a good solution for me. Samsung support in Sweden is normally very helpful but now they just refer to compatibility issues and wait (maybe forever) on a new firmware. This removes all the satisfaction with the TV. Fix this issue and its a 5-star.

Pretty good but there's compromises

We bought this TV a couple of months ago, and on the whole its been pretty good. It generally looks like a picture on the wall as it's so low profile. There's a couple of consessions you have to take with this TV though:1. The edge lighting on the bottom of the screen in particular is very noticeable, especially when a black and white image is shown. Basically the bottom 3-4cm appear a more blue hue and are brighter than the other part of the screen. I took the tv back to shop to confirm their one did the same. From what I have read online this would be avoided if the screen was backlight.2. The light sensor isn't quite right - in order to get the screen to look like a framed artwork, a light sensor is used to set the backlight level. The user can "teach" the screen what backlight is suitable in different light levels (ie, when it is day light you set the backlight and I believe the screen remembers this level) but it just doesn't work quite right, and I find I need to adjust the backlight depending on lighting conditions.3. The screen does allow you to use personal photos, but if you set "random slideshow" it never seems to remember this after a power cycle.4. Strange bug which may be more Audiopro issue - when the screen senses movement and turns on after a period of time, it seems to send a signal down the HDMI ARC channel which causes our audiopro speakers to flick to ARC input for a second - enough to stop spotify playingSo yes, I would recommend this screen to a friend, but would also warn them about the quirks which the screen has. It's not a completely polished experience.

Another thing we had an issue with was there was no ability to shuffle images. The 2021 model is fantastic as there is a significantly bigger hard drive in it allowing for a lot more images to be stored and viewed in Art Mode. There is also a random setting when playing which is a great added bonus.Overall:We would highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a way to utilise the TV when it is not "on".
