After our old machine suddenly broke down, we opted for the Samsung AddWash smart front load washing machine. Easy to install and just as easy to operate, you don't have to constantly refer back to the manual to know what each setting does. It has enough settings that even the most diligent user happy without being complicated. It is quite, although the solenoids are a little loud and abrupt when opening up. Other than that our clothes leave this machine feeling fresh and clean

We purchased this washer to replace an existing front loader so we know about the pros and cons of front vs top loaders and prefer front loaders.The new washer has slightly larger capacity but the same external dimensions as the old so that was a benefit. The wash cycles and program selector are intuitive use, are shorted to complete than our old washer and get the cloths clean.It has a mobile phone app which took several attempts to set up (any deviation form the instructions causes it to fail, thr washer must have good wifi connection + blue tooth to your phone + be on but idle + no power disruptions). The main benefit is it registered the washer with Samsung and lets me know when a wash has finished. My previous machine was a Samsung bubble wash front loader and frustrated me with not being able to add an item on the final wash! This Samsung Add wash is so awesome! Water and energy saving, wifi connected to allow for remote management, quieter than my last and easy to program. So many wash options. Love the ability to add an item after starting so I don’t have that one item waiting for days to be washed with the next load!Love it and well priced

Impressed by this model - extensive selections of washing settings, covering almost all bases. An easier soaking setting would be ideal, though, and I wish some of them ran a bit shorter in duration, however - but overall, very helpful with getting a good quality wash out of every load. Machine treats clothes kindly and I have noticed they last longer before looking old - other brand machines I've used in the past have tended to wear out the clothes after washing more quickly. The drainage filter is in an awkward spot for something that needs to be emptied regularly though, as it is right at the bottom but has no drainage or attachment to help drain, just pools out onto floor as soon as filter unscrewed. I purchased a the Samsung Add Wash washing machine and I'm very happy with it! It's a great machine, with lots of features and options that make it easy to use. The Add Wash feature is especially convenient, as it allows you to add any item to the load while it's already washing. This is great for when you forget something or you want to add an extra item. The machine has a huge selection of settings to choose from to get the best wash for all types of items. The 15 minute quick wash is also a handy setting for people like me, who sometimes forget to hang the washing out and just need to do a quick rewash. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this machine and would definitely recommend it to others.

It's pretty quiet and I've used the forgotten clothing item door 2-3 times. I like how it's moved the cycle I prefer (Super @ 58 minutes) to the front of the list. I'm a creature of habit so haven't really used many of the other cycles. I have used the add on function to extend the soak and wash. It plays a funny little musical piece at the end which at the moment I'm finding oddly charming. We had to urgently replace an older Samsung machine just before Xmas. The previous Samsung was an absolute champion and gave us many years of great service, so we opted for another Samsung unit. This unit has a bigger load capacity, both hot and cold water taps, a sock drawer, WiFi and was cheaper than the old one!The wash cycles are great and the reminder on my phone when a load is finished stops me forgetting about clothes sitting in there.

It's reasonably easy to use, but I feel there are way too many different cycles to choose from, and most, take a long time to complete. There is a 15 minute quick wash for small loads, which I find convenient at times. The thing I dislike most though is that the clothes / towels always seem to come out fairly damp compared to our Speed Queen, and that means they take a lot longer to dry. Replaced 28 y.o. KLEENMAID (SPEED QUEEN) which finally went KAPUT! After navigating instruction manual (easy) put new washer to work. Takes a fair bit longer to complete washing cycle than old machine BUT uses far less water and electricity. Definitely a much cleaner wash, and considering the SPEED QUEEN was a heavy duty commercial unit, I'm well pleased. All the little smart things allow customisation of each washing cycle, so I can still cold wash and vary spin speed, excellent. Relatively affordable too from APPLIANCES ONLINE, with delivery, installation and removal of old machine inclusive. Could not be more pleased at this stage, though unable to report on longevity.
The reason for this one star review is that Samsung's public statements on its Adwash machines states that you can add a LOOSE sock using the Adwash door (google this and you will see the statements in a few different places including a statement by Samsung's South African DIrector of Consumer Appliances). However in complete contradiction, page 11 of the user manual states that socks need to be washed in a laundry net.
