Excellent focus. It took a little while for me to remember that this is a manual lens and I would therefore have to change the aperture settings on the camera. Good, easy setting up. I`m very pleased with it.

Samyang is a high quality brand and their 14mm is no exception. Build quality is superb. Warping is very low and images are very clear, even at the edges. Great for those wide landscape shots, dream-like sequences, or exaggerated sense of movement. Highly recommend as part of your lens kit.

This lens does exactly what it needs to. It’s cheap and worth it. No image stabilization so I would use some sort of gimbal to get those butter smooth wide shots. Some lens distortion on the outside but I think it’s kinda cool. Not worth spending a thousand more to have no distortion. Just buy it. It will help you get good variety in your shots.
