The uniform positioning of the aperture/focus ring makes switching between lenses in the V-AF series easy and quick. The even weight distribution eliminates the need for gimbal calibration, allowing for immediate continuation of shooting. With a compact size of 73 x 70 mm and a lightweight of 280 g, handling the lenses is made easier. Small lights on the front and left side of the lens indicate whether recording is in progress, ensuring an uninterrupted video shoot. Once recording starts on the camera, the lights automatically switch from green to red, signaling to everyone on set, both in front of and behind the camera, that recording is underway. The V-AF series supports resolutions of up to 8K in a small and lightweight format, making it ideal for use with gimbals and drones, as well as for vlogging and on-the-go shooting. The lenses of all V-AF series lenses are color-matched to avoid color shifts when changing lenses. Additionally, the aperture blades provide a natural bokeh. The V-AF lenses are equipped with typical and highly useful features found in Samyang lenses, such as the Custom Switch and the Focus Hold Button. The assignment of the Custom Switch and firmware updates can be quickly and easily managed through the Samyang Lens Station.
