$80 Defective SD.

I bought this card while on my honeymoon since I wanted to get new games but had no storage space, but it continuously asked me to format the card. Figured I could format it on my pc (which was at home, states away). Finally got home and my PC doesn't recognize it either. The receipt unfortunately got lost in our repack to head home so $80 just went down the drain and still out of room on my switch. Not worth spending another $80 to try again.

Counterfeit item. REPORTED!

This is a counterfeit SD card. Just a regular Sandisk, the packaging is a regular one but the actual SD card has some cheap looking print on it that says "Nintendo Switch"Nowhere on the packaging does it mention this is for the switch. DO NOT BUY

This piece of garbage repeatedly gives me several different Switch error codes (the most frequent one it gives me is 2005-0003) which, after looking up the codes, all indicate a bad SD card aka garbage. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps that I found online numerous times (including formatting the SD card countless times), but they steos either dont help or they temporarily work for about 10 minutes. Stay far away from this SD card folks. I've just finished snapping this piece of junk in half in hopes of making me feel better for wasting $80 . I grinned for a good 10 seconds as I watched this garbage split into pieces.

Great storage for Nintendo Swi
2 February 2021

These memory cards worked seamlessly and flawlessly with both my children's Nintendo Switch consoles. Do not use Nintendo's data transfer utility if you will be replacing the card with this one. Instead, shut the unit down, remove the old card and put it in a computer. Navigate to the folder Nintendo. Copy that folder to your computer. It will take 5-10 minutes. Then eject the old card and insert the new one into the computer. Open that card and drag the Nintendo folder into the new card. Again it will take 5-10 minutes. When done, eject the new card, insert it into the Switch and power on. That's it!

Higher Storage Space=More Fun For Playing Games
26 June 2022

I started to get warnings of "corrupt data" while playing various games. I kept updating and redownloading the games without fixing the issue. One solution I found online suggested that maybe there was not enough storage space on the system AND on my SD card. This was the problem. I bought this new SD card--transferred my data to it and everything runs well now

With the SanDisk name you know it's quality right from the gate. But then you add Nintendo into the mix and you know you got something good. Everything loads in a timely fashion. No lag. Never had a problem or an error. But always keep a backup because things we have no control of happen and if ya wanna feel just a little safer, just keep two. The one in the Switch and one you can copy said one in the Switch onto every so often.

Good Points: Lots of storage roomA tip to know: your sd card storage will go down slightly when inserted to the nintendo switch, so i advise bigger storage than needed due to some being taken upImprovement Points: Although i'm not keen on how the package came, Curryz packed it fine. But the actual sd card box was really hard to get into.

Super fast!

I really love this card. It has been very useful for me. The Nintendo switch console has very limited space and with only a few games mine was already out of space. However thanks to this card I have been able to expand its memory. It’s very fast and effective. It works very well and is very easy to use. I recommend restarting your Nintendo after inserting the card. I really liked this product and would absolutely recommend.

What a great decision!

First of all, it looks cool! I mean, c'mon - who doesn't like the star? Second of all, I'm glad it's SDXC. It provides me with the speed advantage over SDHC. The 256GB is plenty of space. I've had 1TB before - for other systems - but I never got near 50% so I feel this is fine. Definitely recommend :)

Do you need a Switch branded SD card for your Nintendo Switch? No. Does it give warm fuzzies that if something doesn't work you can call Nintendo or Sandisk and get support? Maybe. Is it a neat little design for an SD Card and does it work well with the switch? Yes indeed!First SD card that made me go out and buy a faster card reader after it took over an hour to migrate 64GB from old card to new.Would definitely recommend!
