I've always been a fan of the Sandisk Cruzer lineup, I got one of their originals in 2011, the black & white slide design & it's been by far my favourite USB of all time. I still use it to this day for work documents as it's only 1gb (which is all you need for office work). However I have one of these newer 3.0 Cruzer Glide's & it's been working great for me. It's mainly a media usb, I'll put videos on them & play them on my android box.Overall while this will never beat the iconic first gen Sandisk Cruzer, this is a great successor at an AMAZING price, by a reputable brand which will last a lot longer than cheap Chinese USB's. There were many to choose from but I decided on this one partly for the brand and partly for the price. I transferred a lot of files from my Drive account to the Sandisk without any trouble. Hopefully this device will serve as extra storage for my Lenovo for some time to come. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I’ve been using the SanDisk 64GB Cruzer Glide USB 2.0 Flash Drives for many years now, and can not recommend them enough. These have been a life saver for high school work, college work, and other important files well throughout my adult career. I prefer the 64GB over the smaller sizes because it is just enough space to be able to hold documents like essays and projects for school, or video files and important spreadsheets for work, while still having room to spare. I really like the sleek black and red design on them too. Their small sizes makes them very convenient and easily portable to take to school or the office. I’ve had SanDisk flash drives for years, and they’ve always been reliable, and I have never lost any files while using them.

Its only USB 2.0, so that will put an upper limit on its speed, but it feels pretty quick to copy a few gigabytes of video. I didnt buy this for speed. Unless you have a specific reason why you need a faster drive e.g. copying many gigabytes under time pressure, or running software directly off of it, this drive is probably fast enough for most purposes. These drives are tiny. I would compare them to the size of a thumbnail. Because of this, they are a little difficult to remove once you insert them into your device. That is NOT GUARANTEED historically with thumb drives. Most hackers have a drawer full of old flash drivessdcards that WONT be recognized by the BIOS POST, but the Cruzers are on all my devices across the years. Also, Id rather GIVE someone a USB button with the 4K video100 pics I made at an event, because I dont have a photo sharing video site, and Im not about to upload everybodys kids family to Youtube, just so we can share the videos. These devices read at 29MBs and write at 12MBs. I havent had one fail yet and I own dozens and useem hard.
I'm all for buying generic brands for stuff. I buy generic water, generic ink printer cartridge, generic contact lens solutions, etc. But when it comes to electronic information that I don't want to lose-I stick to a national brand that's been around for a long time. Yes, there are cheaper USP sticks out there but I'm paranoid about losing it through some glitch or incompatible blah blah...that I don't understand. SanDisk has been good to me so I stick to it.
