Defective, don't buy this cheap CD.

I bought this 1TB from this BestBuy market seller on-line. I felt great, thinking that it is a steal, it was only $109 for 1TB of storage. But, after inserting this card into my compatible cell phone. A message "error read and write" kept popping up. I tried to get it out and re-insert it again several times. No luck. I tried formatting it, then re-insert it. Again it does not work. Wasted a lot of time.So, I went to the local BestBuy store to see if o can exchange this defective SD Card. The answer is "No", because I bought it from the Market Seller! However, If i had bought it from BestBuy store (including online), then I could get it exchanged! What a lession! Trued contacting the Seller to get a refund, no luck.

Does what it says on the tin...

Firstly, on the rare occasions that I buy SD micro cards (for my kindle fire), I rely on B&H to provide authentic products. In my experience this is important for memory cards (and batteries, but that's another story). My biggest challenge here was trying to force Windows to format the card in FAT32 format (Windows doesn't provide that option). Anyway job done and files transferred like a dream.For kindle users, I use an 11th gen Fire. The blurb says 512 GB cards are the limit but even the extreme, as reviewed here, works and, so far, no random non-recognition of an SD micro card. The relevance here is that it's fiddly to keep popping the card then re-inserting, especially when yourr Kindle is in a case!

Fake / counterfeit merchandise

I bought eight of these for security cameras. Tested two of them with ATTO disk benchmark (tested many other SD cards with good results before). The maximum speed of these is less than one quarter of the advertised speed. 22MB/s write and 44MB/s read. They are selling counterfeit / fake merchandise, I do not understand how BestBuy can allow this. I will be returning this, but am worried they will not return my shipping fees which were 36 dollars. That's how they must be making money with this scam. I will be talking with my MasterCard to do a charge back if they refuse to do a full refund.

Fast and Reliable

I have at least 10 of these cards in various drones and they have never failed. They achieve 160MB/s WRITE and 90MB/s READ speeds consistently and are built durable.I purchased 2 of these cards from a big rainforest online retailer recently and when I put them in my drones, the drone gave an immediate error that said insufficient speed card. I immediately did a speed test on them and they would only achieve 50MB/s WRITE and 70MB/s READ speeds. While very close in design, the font and color was also slightly off from the genuine cards. I returned these 2 cards for replacements and received 2 more non-genuine (fake) cards which I also promptly returned for credit.I have never received fake cards from B&H. San Disk Sells Completely Unreliable Memory!

I've had several San Disk memory product lines, including flash drives. When they work, they are amazing, but no matter how great they are performance-wise in the beginning, they will always start to fail within a year or two, if not sooner. I've had two USB drives suddenly become read only as a security feature (huh?) within a one year period. Knowing this, I bought this micro USDHC card last year hoping that I wouldn't have the same issues. Instead, with zero warning, the card became undetected, even though I didn't have much storage on it (just ebooks, photos and music) and didn't use it all that much.
