I recently went on a 2 week 2147 mile road trip. We started in Brooklyn to the Blue Ridge Mountains where we visited one of the caverns. From there we did 35 miles of the Skyline Drive. Then we headed to Atlanta to visit my older brother. All along that part of the trip I was shooting like crazy. In Atlanta we did the Museums, the Aquarium and Ante Belem homes. MORE PHOTOS.. Next stop was Charleston S.C. with two days of bus tours and many many more shots with the 750. Finally we ended up in D.C. on Memorial Day and went to see the Viet Nam Memorial and listen to the speeches by retired Generals and Members of the various services (I'm from a military family going back at least 5 generations that we can trace). COUNTERFEIT CARDS BEING DELIVERED!I purchased 3 of these 256 GB 170mb/s SanDisk Extreme Pro SD Cards in April for the upcoming Wedding Season (I'm a wedding photographer.) 2 of the 3 cards were used and both of the ones I used corrupted image files. 1st wedding I lost about 200 files. 2nd Wedding I lost about 50 files. 3 use I lost 10. Once I realized I had corrupted files, I immediately changed out my SD Cards. Upon further inspection of these new cards (which I have had to replace because I refuse to use this again for fear of loss of work) the SD Cards do NOT have a Serial Number on the back of the card, the plastic feels different, the contact points on the back of the SD Card are a different color or form of metal alloy, and the ejection tab on the ... MoreDO NOT BUY! I never thought that it's possible to get fake SD Cards from here, but I just did. I guess I will have to now look elsewhere to purchased memory cards.This card is supposed to be rated for 200MB/s sustained reads, but I'm getting a paltry 50MB/s. That's 1/4 of the rated speed. Quite sad with my purchase. I have never had problems purchasing from here. I've made several purchases including more expensive equipment. But maybe the distributor that this place is getting from is being given fake cards. It's a sad day.

Purchased this card to go in an older Canon Vixia HF G30 camcorder to capture our pool installation process. Video quality is only 1080(60fps), but that's not the cards fault that's the max for the camcorder. Got the 256GB card to be able to capture multiple days worth of video before having to transfer it off for storage on my NAS. So far the card has performed as I have come to expect from SanDisk Extreme PRO cards as I use them in all my electronics (Pro grade Nikon DSLRs, GoPro Hero 10, cell phones etc.) Always buy the biggest capacity and fastest card that my budget can support at that time and have never had an issue.

That being said, the packaging was quite secure, it comes with its own plastic carrying case, and once installed was immediately usable.I shot probably 35-40 test shots before having to focus on some other more pressing matters and performance seemed quite good with no errors. I also did some burst/bracketed shots and didn't see any unreasonable delays. A UHS-II card would likely be a more optimal solution for anyone looking to extensively push the limits of burst-type shooting, of which I am not predicting a lot of.
