I recently went on a 2 week 2147 mile road trip. We started in Brooklyn to the Blue Ridge Mountains where we visited one of the caverns. From there we did 35 miles of the Skyline Drive. Then we headed to Atlanta to visit my older brother. All along that part of the trip I was shooting like crazy. In Atlanta we did the Museums, the Aquarium and Ante Belem homes. MORE PHOTOS.. Next stop was Charleston S.C. with two days of bus tours and many many more shots with the 750. Finally we ended up in D.C. on Memorial Day and went to see the Viet Nam Memorial and listen to the speeches by retired Generals and Members of the various services (I'm from a military family going back at least 5 generations that we can trace). COUNTERFEIT CARDS BEING DELIVERED!I purchased 3 of these 256 GB 170mb/s SanDisk Extreme Pro SD Cards in April for the upcoming Wedding Season (I'm a wedding photographer.) 2 of the 3 cards were used and both of the ones I used corrupted image files. 1st wedding I lost about 200 files. 2nd Wedding I lost about 50 files. 3 use I lost 10. Once I realized I had corrupted files, I immediately changed out my SD Cards. Upon further inspection of these new cards (which I have had to replace because I refuse to use this again for fear of loss of work) the SD Cards do NOT have a Serial Number on the back of the card, the plastic feels different, the contact points on the back of the SD Card are a different color or form of metal alloy, and the ejection tab on the ... I bought this card as a replacement for my 128GB SDXC which was rated at 95MB/s. I considered using two memory cards since the Nikon D850 accepts both XQD and SD simultaneously, but after thinking about the pros & cons (especially the premium price for the XQD) I decided to get a faster and larger SD.It's hard to notice any difference for ordinary usage, but when I switch the camera to CH mode (which I do quite often these days) the extra speed is instantly noticed. Add to that twice more capacity... and I still have my old 128GB as a backup card just in case.

I never thought that it's possible to get fake SD Cards from here, but I just did. I guess I will have to now look elsewhere to purchased memory cards.This card is supposed to be rated for 200MB/s sustained reads, but I'm getting a paltry 50MB/s. That's 1/4 of the rated speed. Quite sad with my purchase. I have never had problems purchasing from here. I've made several purchases including more expensive equipment. But maybe the distributor that this place is getting from is being given fake cards. It's a sad day.

No issues reading the files onto my computer.Shooting long photo bursts at 20 frames/sec = the camera buffer flushed to the card noticeably faster than when I use slower spec'd cards.My camera can write just a bit faster than the 90MB/s write speed of this card, and it would be nice to have UHS-II ... That being said, the packaging was quite secure, it comes with its own plastic carrying case, and once installed was immediately usable.I shot probably 35-40 test shots before having to focus on some other more pressing matters and performance seemed quite good with no errors. I also did some burst/bracketed shots and didn't see any unreasonable delays. A UHS-II card would likely be a more optimal solution for anyone looking to extensively push the limits of burst-type shooting, of which I am not predicting a lot of. So let me just say that you, like myself at one time, may believe that all memory cards are created relatively equal with only minor differences in write speeds, ruggedness, and format.That?s where you?re wrong though. Photos have no problem transferring to my Mac with a card reader but for some reason when I record video files and I try to transfer them from a card reader they just are not recognized by my Mac. I've been on tech-support with both Apple and SanDisk and neither one could help me figure out the problem. I turned the web for answers and found one other person with the same problem only they were using a Sony camera which may be why there are so many reviews here saying it does not work with Sony. There is a workaround: If I leave the card in the camera and connect with a USB C cable to my Mac and use the Canon Utility software it will transfer without issue.
