Excellent capacity and fast read speed but write speed disappointing. Ok for random files here and there you will never notice. When I transfer multi gig files it heats up and slows WAY down. Not unexpected due to chip density, just annoying compared to similar capacity hard drives.

This little guy has proven far more usefual than I even originally intended. Main purpose was to transfer files easily between my laptop and Steam Deck with the handy USB A-or-C functionality, but I've ended up using it for far more than just a shuttle for game roms - it's super fast and the seamless adaptability (and tiny size) makes it perfect for long-term storage of any number of critical files and photos you may want to keep - and obviously you don't have to worry about data decay with a flash drive - for $18, couldn't be happier! Buy two!

I had a small flash drive before this one, it connected to android phones but it was kinda clunky, and bc it was metal, it warped and sometimes didn't fit too well.This Sandisk seesaw drive is amazing. It doesn't warp, and you can easily use it to swap files from your PC to your newer android phones. I still have a note 9 and it works great. The Flippy thing is genius. I've seen those ones where you slide it, and eventually they end up breaking or getting stuck. And plus, it easily fits on a keychain. For the price, it's not a bad accessory.
Bought this for my GF so she could download everything off her phone & easier to transfer to pc for storage. Plugged it in & initiated drive & easily copied all info & pics she needed onto drive. Got it on sale from $119 to $36.99 making it a great deal for its storage size ! Cost efficient, easy to use. Would not carry it around as open side end port not hidden inside grip piece can get dirt, etc in it. But good to have at home ready or if you put this inside a case of some sort. Will definitely buying 1 for myself !
The SanDisk 256GB Ultra Dual Drive is the easiest Type-C and Type-A USB key that I've used. It seems sturdy and not cheap. The design is slim enough that wont block other USB ports. Very useful for archiving files on the computer or smartphone. Moving files is fast. Compared to my Samsung Duo plus USB key which comes with an adapter for Type A connections, the SanDisk device swivels around and has no interchangeable parts to lose.My only concern is that I might lose the key given its compact size. There's a hole for a strap but the manufacture does not include a wrist strap.
Purchased this flash drive to transfer photos and videos from my phone expecting to free up space on my phone (did not free up any space). Problem is if you are looking to transfer you need to download the app. So in order to download the app I had to delete several apps. Transferring the photos and video's were easy, only problem is you can't find it easy like on your phone because it doesn't keep it in the folders that you have on your phone. So it's all in one file.
I have REPEATEDLY tried to schedule someone to come out since I have the tech support for a year (already paid for) to install and connect this to my laptop I bought from you folks and NOTHING HAS HAPPENED!!! What good is this is you can't get help when you need it! Why can't you talk the customer thru some processes over phone? Geek Squad won't help even when you bring it into the store!!! Does this thing work? I'm sure not since nothing pops up when you plug it into the computer!!! Geek Squad you suck and that's real talk!!! Won't do this again.

I got this so I can transfer files between Windows 10 PCs and a MacBook Air M2. I take it with the MacBook when I travel. I don't need a USB-A to USB-C adapter cable. I have it formatted exFAT.It is small and has a plastic body so I am careful when I plug it in and remove it. I have it on a lanyard so I can even carry it around my neck.I have never had a problem with the seven SanDisk USB thumb drives that I own.
