Installed one for a client ,but what is the point of supplying zinc screws and brackets fir an item that goes outside, these will rust. Secondly the endges around the news paper insert are razor sharp, I got a deep cut on my finger, this should have been picked up in quality control.

Bought this black coloured letterbox. On the online page, website, box it says it has fixings available. Simply useless for anyone looking to install this on metal fence. Ad also says this letterbox is for metal fence which is almost impossible for anyone without proper channels to go with it. In short DO NOT BUY this if you are installing this on a metal fence.

Looks good installed in our new timber fence, but surprised that this and other similar style modern (expensive) letterboxes are not designed with a wide enough slot to take A5 envelopes, like the cheaper old style letterboxes on posts. Quite a major oversight in the practicality of the design, which defeats the purpose of being able to lock the box, if anything other that the standard rectangular envelope has to be rolled and put into the newspaper slot, leaving it sticking out and into the street. That would be my only complaint.

Sturdy construction. Looks to be of good quality. Quite secure.
