The other reviews are right, this letterbox floods like crazy. It's not just a bit damp, my mail gets completely sodden and destroyed. Water pours out when I open it up. If you really like it (and it's been fine aside from this issue) maybe drill a couple of holes in the bottom before you install it.

I installed this almost a month ago, past reviews was that the mail gets wet when it rains however, I live in a high wind, rain area and have not had any issues. Looks good, very sturdy and door closes snug which means no escaping of mail.
Terrible product. Mail gets wet evetime it rains. I wonder how they tested this product before releasing to the market
