Absolutely avoid, not worth the headache.. First wouldn’t let you set a new combination then miraculously worked after 20 identical attempts to do so. Screwed into wall and door wouldn’t latch closed until again about 20 attempts to do so but then latch button broke so can’t even get a refund now because the useless box is stuck on my wall locked closed.

I've been using this safe for over 3 years with an Airbnb property and have had no problems. As reflected in the low price, this product is more suited to lower security use and I would choose something a little stronger if higher security was required.

I bought this key safe several weeks ago and installation and set up was a breeze.I found that opening the key safe did not always go smoothly and did not open with the correct combination. I had to jumble the numbers and set it again to open it which was quite frustrating.
I bought one of these, hoping to use it for just two modern car keys but the inside dimensions were nowhere near big enough. Bunnings really need to quote the inside dimensions not the external dimensions.
This lock can be opened in about 5 seconds with the right tool. Heap of utter rubbish.

I bought this product about a month ago planning to mount it in my garage.First of all when I tried to change the combination the reset lever was getting stuck and so when I went to test my new combination wasn’t sure if it had worked or not. It was closed but the black lever still moving slightly so with a flat head screw driver without applying barely any force got the safe open. It was only then I realised that my new code hadn’t worked.Safe is so easy to break into it may as well not even be used. Better off hiding keys than broadcasting where they are in this matchbox.
Just purchased this item the opening mechanism jammed. Lock is now useless stuck on my wall. Can’t open it.
